I never dry between my toes, and frankly I've never thought about it. I do go barefoot after my shower, so they have plenty of time to dry.

<br /><br /><br /> This has been one of the coldest winters we had in a long time with some seriously low temperatures. Our lowest temperature was 3.7 a couple of weeks ago. That's ridiculous! LOL

Woodward Academy in College Park gave their bus drivers $1000 bonus each for their heroic duty last week. Way to Go! And yes, I know Woodward Academy is private, and it won't happen in the public school system, but it would be nice if they could get some kind of bonus. Kudos to ALL of the bus drivers that made it through last week and got all their children delivered safely.

And just to add, Lowe's and Home Depot have the large humidifiers. You can get cool mist and warm mist. Ours in the living room is a cool mist and If I had known more at the time, I would have gotten a warm mist. We bought it the first winter we were here and it's still going strong. It has two large tanks.

And humidity does make the air warmer. That's why it's so dang hot here in the south in the summertime, it's the humidity. (and no, I don't run a humidifier in the summer. We run a DE-humidifier in the basement during the summertime) I remember growing up, my mother and grandmother always had a pot of water on the gas heater to put moisture in the air.

. <br /><br /><br /> Electric heat. We're total electric, a heat pump provides the heat and the air. And believe me, it's cold heat. I've always had gas for heat and had to get used to a heat pump when we moved here. That's why I build a fire so much. It eventually gets warm, but it's also extremely dry heat, so I run humidifiers. It makes the air a little warmer, your skin is not as dry and it cuts down on the static electricity.

The outer perimeter proposed 30 years ago would re-route semi's everyday. But it didn't happen then and it sure won't happen now.

The governor was depending on Charley English, the head of GEMA, and I don't think even he was watching. I think Charley English should go. The rest of us were watching and made our own decisions. You know, I was watching on TV when GEMA Head Charley English said it was his fault he didn't notify the governor. Personally, I think the governor should have been awake in constant contact with NWS himself, but that's another story. When Charley English was talking yesterday he kinda acted like he was drunk or getting over a drunk. Maybe it's time for him to go if he can't do his job. And he gets paid HOW much to not do his job?
