Good Morning! It is a winter wonderland this morning. I went outside last night and didn't hear anything, except snow falling.

I didn't have any trouble with the SSA site.(that I remember, it's been a while). I HATE Compass! All government web sites are difficult and I think they do it on purpose.

It's snowing really hard at my house, but now it tiny flakes. Supposed to do this all night! I tried to attach a photo and the stupid editor won't let me.

As miserable as this has been, I love the snow. We might as well have snow if we have to stay in! And if you step outside you can hear it falling. I love to hear snow falling, and this time it's loud hitting the ice. Enjoy!

Since this event has been declared a State of Emergency and the last event two weeks ago was declared a State of Emergency, will these days out of school have to be made up? I remember during the last round of discussions some one on here said if the governor declared a State of Emergency they would NOT. Does anyone really know? And I really don't expect the kids to go back to school this week and winter break is next week, I'm like OMG!! I want to load up in the car and head to South Florida so bad, seriously.

I cooked a large pot of homemade vegetable beef soup yesterday and tonight is spaghetti.......yeah! the power didn't go out.

We're in a lull right now.........we have a little more ice coming, but snow tonight into the morning hours.

Wow! I remember Jim Axel, and I remember that storm well. We lived in the country, on well water. So for days, no power, no water, no way to get out. It was misery. At least we did have propane for heat and the stove worked. Did anyone notice the guy cutting out on the pole? Been there, done that, but at least it wasn't on an icy pole. Thanks for the video!

Georgia Power reporting close to 100,000 power outages

FOX5 is reporting Georgia Power says 65,000 outages area wide.

Well I'm headed to bed and it's dropped to 32.9. It's dropping fast. I love watching storms come through but I would rather watch later tomorrow when this turns over to snow. Everyone stay safe and warm! And pray we don't lose power.
