The outter perimeter that was proposed 30 years ago would have taken most of the trucks off I-285 and a lot of cars as well. NOBODY wants to have to use that Highway from Hell. I hate 285.

Too bad we don't have that outter perimeter they tried to put in 30 years ago. That would relieve traffic immensely, escpecially all the trucks.

So the fire was on Gold Mine (two words) Road west off of 278? I swear I've seen a street sign at that road behind Walmart that said Goldmine Road, and I always wondered if folks were talking about that one or the one off 278.

I've got a question. When you say Goldmine Road, you're talking about Hiram, behind Walmart, right? And when folks say Gold Mine Road, they're talking about west off of Hwy. 278? right? Honestly, I've never been down either. I need to go for a ride, when the streets get better. I know, I know. I've lived here forever.

I don't know anything for a fact, but I heard from many reliable folks how crooked Earl Lee was. I think it's common knowledge. And don't get me wrong. I'm glad they took care of this evil murderer.

And the NWS is urging folks to take the Winter Storm Watch (prepare) and the Winter Storm Warning (time to act) as serious as a Hurricane Warning.

It wasn't the weather folks that messed up..... It was the head of GEMA. I posted this when the 5:00 news came on: On FOX5 now, Deal is saying the warning came in at 3:40 and GEMA didn't tell the governor until 5 hours later. WTH????? GEMA Carl English is taking the blame for not informing the governor.

LOL There were 4 wheelers all over our subdivision, that's what cleared the streets.

We used to go ride around in parking lots in our cars and trucks........and I was grown! Haven't done that in years.

We haven't gotten any mail in 3 days. Who would think in this day of technology I would miss my mail? But I do. Maybe tomorrow.

I got my laptop on sale last year with Windows 7 when the new Windows 8 came out. I tried it then and didn't like it. Well, I was just look at Micro Center on line and see that they range from $19.95 to $89.95. That's a lot cheaper than a new computer. I sent him an email to see what he thinks. Is it hard to change out the power supply?

The tower is probably 3-4 years old. It had gotten to where it would sound like a plane trying to take off. Then one day it just wouldn't turn on. I took it to Subby and he said "The power supply is toast" He said it would be cheaper to buy a new tower than try to fix that one and he could extract everything from my hard drive. He said the hard drive was fine. So I guess I need to make a run to Micro Center. They are real helpful there.
