Zaxby's Grilled Chicken Zalad with lite vinegrette dressing is absolutely awesome. It has such a wonderful variety of ingredients. We're ALWAYS pleased. Give it a try.
  2. I didn't take generic Synthroid for the first few years. However, after my levels stayed the same for a long period of time, my doctor and I decided to give the generic a try. The medicine is just as good. The only problem is that you may get different manufacturers of the medicine when you take generic, which means your levels may fluctuate. I've been on generic for several years now with no problems. It's a decision you have to make and I thought it was worth a try to save money. As long as you're being tested regularly, it's not a problem.
  3. They're making road improvements (turning lanes) in preparation for the red light that's going up. Yaaaaayyyyy!!!
  4. My daughter's car transmission is acting up. Luckily, we were able to drive the car home, but want an honest mechanic to tell us what it really needs. Someone suggested that it "could" be a sensor because it sounds like it's in limp mode. Has anyone ever heard of this? This could be a lot cheaper than a new transmission -- which I don't have the money to buy -- especially if I don't need one. It's great to hear that someone is being recommended. Can you provide the location and phone number please? Thanks!
  5. Very interesting... One of my daughter's old boyfriends accidentally bumped into another vehicle in the Blockbuster parking lot just next door to Kroger. It was dark, and he didn't think he did any damage either. Contrary to what you were told, he WAS charged with leaving the scene and it wasn't pretty. Turned out very serious. I do agreee that they should take responsibility -- but just be careful.
  6. Zaxby's grilled house salad (with lite vinagrette dressing) is awesome. My daughter and I love them -- even when we're not watching what we eat. Give it a try!
  7. Carole, We are so very sorry for your loss. You have such a wonderful family and we'll be thinking of you, Megan and Abigail. Please let us know if we can do anything. The Britt Family, Tim, Sherry, Ashley & Shelby
  8. Come on guys. Surely you know someone who might be interested. Please share this with your friends. Hubby really wants to play with other guitar players. Thanks!!!
  9. Mr. Big Eyes has really picked up with his guitar playing over the last couple of years and now he's looking for someone to practice with. He's middle aged and likes classic rock, country, & blues music. He's not a beginner, but he's not a pro either. Plays both electric and acoustic and is just looking for someone to jam with on the weekends. He serenades me all the time and our daughter even sings with him sometimes. He's really pretty good. Anybody local out there interested? We'd love to hear from you.
  10. I'm not sure if my pain was the same as yours, but my entire left leg hurt constantly. I couldn't walk, stand, sit, drive -- or do anything without excruciating pain. It turned out to be from a herniated disc in my back which I thought that was strange since my back never hurt. Anyway, during the month that they were trying to find out what was wrong and decide how to treat it, the ONLY thing that would relieve any pain at all was to elevate that leg really high -- higher than my heart. I would sit in a recliner with 4-5 pillows and sleep with the pillows under my leg as well. They even had to
  11. My daughter just got home on the bus. She said the roads are slushy but the bus did slide a couple of times on our backroads. We live in the New Georgia area. I'm glad the kids are home.
  12. My stepfather has just been diagnosed with seizures and will no longer be able to drive or work. The doctor has suggested that he get a good social security lawyer to fight for disability social security so he can get medicare. If anyone kows somebody good, we'd really appreciate the advice. Thanks!
  13. I found a Times-Georgian article about the clinic looking for a location in the area. My link I won't be able to attend tonight's meeting but would very much appreciate someone posting it's location when it's known.
  14. To be honest, the daybed was one of the best features. We spent lots of time out there. One could even sleep out there if it wasn't too hot that night. Again, one of the best vacations ever for us. I highly recommend this place.
  15. Oh, but this one IS on the beach in Panama City. Two bedrooms (one king bed) (one queen bed), sofa bed and a child could even sleep on the love seat. It even has a daybed on the balcony. Absolutely awesome.
  16. Here's where we stayed last August. Sleeps 6 or so. It was awesome. One of the best vacations we can ever remember. http://www.vrbo.com/243647
  17. The latest victim to pass away is from Dallas and has two daughters that go to Scoggins Middle School (6th and 8th grade). Their mother's brother (uncle) is also one of the injured. Please keep this family in your prayers.
  18. I love white lights everywhere -- inside and out -- except on my tree. They are multi-colored so the tree stands out. My most precious ornaments are the ones of my two girls pictures inside them. Over the years, I've been able to find really nice ornament frames and they include pictures of my girls with Santa up until they stopped going to see him. For the past couple of years I just make sure I get a great picture of them at Christmas for the next year's ornament. Last year's includes their dog that they love so much -- which also happens to be last year's Christmas card. Since there are so
  19. My hairdresser said it would probably be OK if it wasn't very noticeable. So we paid the extra $20 on top of the haircut to have the pink stripe put underneath on the side towards the back. No one could even see it unless she pulled her hair up -- and it only lasted about 6 weeks. It was a waste of our money. Even my (middle school daughter) thought so. I would suggest asking the school (and not the hairdresser) and only doing it if it can be seen.
  20. In previous years I always enjoyed the parade, but always wished that the parade would begin with one of the marching bands. What a great way to let you know that the parade is starting (coming), and to get everyone excited and pumped up. I must admit that I missed this year's parade. Did it start with a band?
  21. As I said, I don't know the kids. If you do and he's the victim, I apologize. It just doesn't look that way. Here's the link.. http://www.myfoxatlanta.com/dpp/news/teen_charged_in_paulding_fight_speaks_112409 BigEyes, on 25 November 2009 - 10:37 AM, said: I did see the interview and he did NOT look like the victim to me. He is also much larger than the one who got seriously hurt. Then, he also posted on his my space account that he had won another fight. It now looks like he's backtracking -- saying he wouldn't do it again. I don't know either of these kids, but he looks and sounds like a possible troublemaker. It doesn't look too good for him.
  23. And we're supposed to just believe everything they tell us...NOT!
  24. One Day At A Time was my all time favorite, with I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched close behind. My favorite cartoon was the Flintstones.
