The 3.6 million will be be reimbursed at 90% by the FAA. Silver Comet was supposed to make the bond payments and when the FAA funding came in were to be reimbursed for the bond payments they made.

Defaulting on this bond would result in the county's credit rating to be reduced, thus increasing the cost of future borrowing. Not a good move in light of the significant borrowing needs the county needs for the reservoir.

We are not on the hook for 3.6 million. The FAA is going to reimburse 90% of that amount. Silver Comet Terminal Partners was going to make the bond payments for the County until the FAA reimbursed the County, who in turn would reimburse Silver Comet at that time.

I haven't had a mani or pedi in a long time but the tipping levels were in line with what I was thinking.

Cause that is just what happens-- people do follow UPS trucks and still packages off porches.. Anywho, about 20 minutes ago, UPS shows up with not only my dishwasher parts, don't get me started on the hell that has been the last three days.. but the remainder of my Christmas.. I was expecting a UPS package delivery today and the estimated time was during lunch while we were at the movies. The package is no where to be seen and the UPS tracking still shows it on the truck. I think it was stolen off the front porch and time to move IMO, if it is the case, hubby thinks it will still show up tonight since it is the holiday season.. Opinions..

I really would like to see the profit/loss statement from the airshow. The guy that used to do the Rome Airshow at one point lost over 100K one year, so yes with it being Mother's Day Weekend, I really would like to know, I really dont think they came anywhere near breaking even. But regardless, I would want people to get paid.... I think its a damned if you do, damned if you dont---- they are going to get criticized for paying people or for not... If everyone got paid----

I agree with Leggett that we need to work on our roadways here in Paulding and look forward to seeing what other plans he has for the County. I have heard some good things about him from people that know him. I look forward to seeing who else plans on running.
