My neighborhood has matching mailboxes. The mailbox is $399 plus, $99 installation plus $25 tax. I had to have ti replaced abut 4 years ago and it was $325 then.. If they wont pony up the money tomorrow I am going to have to send demand letters (for payment) to both the contractor and sub. Luckily both of the them live in Douglas County and will save me some time if I have to sue both of them in small claims court. My hubby got a couple of lawyer friends to ask advice from... ugh.. My neighbor still thinks they will pay tomorrow. Hopefully the roofing people will realize how crazy I am after I drive down to the end of the cul de sac after them, got out of the car went up to their vehicle and said WHERE IS MY MONEY??? and want me to go away. Bringing someone a check to replace a damaged good is not rocket science. Nor is picking up a frickin phone and communicating your intentions. There is a reason one of Rose Luxemburg's life rules is to not do business with people knocking on my door or with inbound phone calls to my home.... Also a good sign of piss poor PR if you ask me. I feel like if they had intentions of paying the roofing contractor could have stopped by assured my that the sub would be by Monday or better yet, if they knew they were going to be in the 'hood gotten the check from sub and delivered it to me. Ya..

2014 start up company with addresses for their businesses out of their house per the Sec of State filings... ya, I am encouraged. The young rep must think I am crazy cause I gave him a piece of my mind about their subs poor communication... I had a sign in my yard letting neighbors that this roofing co's sub of a sub hit my 400 dollar mailbox and it is TBD if they will pay up. I plan on making another sign Tuesday am if I dont have check in my grimy hand that I plan on driving to their bank and cashing...

My neighbor's had their roof replaced by a company with reps walking thru the neighborhood informing them that they could get their roof replaced by their insurance company(if they had certain ones) because of the Atlas Chalet shingles that were installed on many houses built in the 1990's and 200's and if their is shingle damage they cannot be replaced because the shingles were defective in some cases and are no longer being made thus necessitating a whole new roof. The subcontractor of a subcontractor who supplied the dumpster hit my $400 +$99 installation fee and tax... mailbox and dest
