  1. Yp, she really needs to be tested. My stint at the Baptist church cured me of organized. Dont have to deal with that to have a relationship with God. That Baptist church is next to the highway and when we drive by we call its Satan's church from what happened... shudder...
  2. Ronnie Floyd is the head of the Southern Baptist Convention--- http://www.sbc.net/presidentspage/about.asp Is this what Baptists think? That is is the wife's fault is the man cheats? I went to a Baptist church for a period of time a long time ago mainly because a lot of relatives went there- the pastor moved on and was featured on rightwingwatch.com. shudder... We went to a Baptist church here one time and I kid you not, the pastor said it was a sin to have a wine cooler while you are vacation in Panama City. We ate mexican after words and I washed it down with a large marga
  3. I doubt he is addicted to porn or has a sex addiction. He never had the opportunity to sow his oats and have some non procreational sex. He well be the Duggar that leaves the cult. He has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Think of the tell all book he could write. It will be interesting to see if he decides to leave Anna. I have to admit,I wish the Duggars were still on the air so we could watch this unfold. LOL...
  4. What pauses and makes me think is that the head of the Southern Baptist Convention is the pastor of the church the Duggars attend. His recent sermon on sex seems to blame Anna for Josh's indiscretion. My question is- I have always found Southern Baptists to be very conservative but it seems they are becoming even more so. Do a lot of Southern Baptists prescribe to some of the beliefs we see the Duggars prescribe themselves to, especially not associating with others that do not have exactly the same beliefs as them? Do a lot of people really blame Anna for Josh?
  5. What I find interesting is that Athens has a 139 and had commercial service and it failed. Athens has much better interstate access and you would think a lot of people on that side of ATL would prefer to go to Athens than Hartsfield, its closer to them. But, the interest apparently wasn't there. So what makes them think that a carrier would be successful here when there is much smaller population center to draw on and less access? I honestly think they have to get the 139 certification, let a few commercial flights come in knowing it will fail, so they can have the money attached with a

  7. Oh I would hate that. They had a really good vodka sauce!!!
  8. Let me know if you cant find what you need. I can put you in touch with a group that can lend folks medical items like when they need it.
  9. Paulding County was able to secure a top notch Econ Dev. person is Robert Reynolds. I already feel sorry for the political landmine field he is walking into. I hope somehow we are able to retain him and his expertise.
  10. I think this move was politics as usual to block the hiring of someone the "insurgent commissioners" didnt care for, whatever the reason. I think we need at least a County Administrator. An elected Chairman is not necessarily going to have the level of expertise to be in charge of the day to day operations of the County including but not limited to oversight of engineering, finances and grant writing, etc, that are often needed. It often helps to have experienced oversight on these matters and grant writing is a time consuming beast and needs to have someone experienced in the nuances of th
  11. Cruz lost me when he spoke about moving the embassy to Jerusalem.
  12. Go Trump!! Ben Carson and the Gov. of Ohio has had some good answers. Bush and Christie-- yuck..

  14. I went outbound on 278 Rockmart and it was 65. I made a point to look at every speed limit sign. Only place I noticed a 55 sign was where Merchant/Business 6 comes out on 278.
  15. I have seen more people driving around with these confederate flags in the past few weeks than I ever have. Some days I am still in culture shock and I have been here 8 years...
  16. I'm glad to know there is one less religious extremist in the world. We'd all be better off if he could learn to get along-- folks of different faiths, but I fully expect WW3 to start under the guise of religion.
  17. Crossroads- the Om mantra-- is also found in Buddhism well as Jainism traditions as an affirmation to a higher power. I think Patti believes as I do that that there is just one God worshiped many ways under many religions. Heretical to some, yes. Well, round us up in a FEMA camp and exterminate us and create your theocracy.
  18. I loved Patti's prayer at the beginning- and yes she is still alive and has not been struck by lightning, if anyone was thinking it was heretical in any way to justify your God sending down a bolt of lightning to take her out,
  19. I am sure the ATL area needs a new toxic dump and some incinerators. Great thing about the incinerators is our current zoning overlay around the airport has a height exclusion for incinerators.
  20. OMG Pat- WOW, I had no idea Jesus rode dinosaurs or that there were Christian crayons (evident by name of coloring hints). SMH!!!
