That is why I would love to see the Protect Paulding or Stop Commercialization do a couple of informational videos on their site or FB page that goes through from beginning to end the timleline of the commercialization issue and the IGA etc. It would really help to inform voters with elections coming next year.

and "As Paulding Turns" continues on to its next exciting episode. I am anxiously awaiting the episode where the AA is found guilty of Open Meeting Violations and the watching the fallout from that!!! HAHA..

We have one of those types in our family and I do believe, if given the opportunity, would kill someone just for the heck of it, if they were giving him a little hassle, if he thought his badge would let him get away with it. I really think those types are attracted to LE and that is a recipe for disaster.

I personally think they want us all dead. They just need to man up, round us up, and shoot us....

The spicyJamaican pies in the frozen food section are really good.

No, the dog was registered with the microchip 8 years ago. I spent a good day online looking for the lady and no luck... -

It is a regular passport. Kid was born in NY. I called the HS and explained the situation and it belongs to one of of Paulding Cty. High Schools finest. Anyway, I couldnt make it over there before the office closed at 4 so I will take it up there tomorrow am. I bet this kid is sweating bullets. If you may recall, last week I found Yorkie on Scoggins that was in poor shape, lol... I want to go back to finding money on the road again... -
This afternoon I found a passport!! Belongs to a 18 year old boy. I called the high school, explained the situation, and sure enough, it belongs to one of their students. The passport will get reunited with its owner tomorrow. I wonder if the boy is sweating bullets as I type..

Indiana to pass law that could allow discrimination against gays
Rose Luxemburg replied to Brian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Soon women will have to slip on a communal burqua at the front door to conduct their shopping at some stores, assuming they can shop without a male relative or husband accompanying them. Geez, who wants to have to wonder anytime you step into a store if you are the right color, religion, sexual orientation, have the right kind of snake in your pocket, etc. in order to buy whatever... Heck, no wonder I buy so much online now and will buy more in the future if this passes... -

Indiana to pass law that could allow discrimination against gays

or having to slip a communal burqua on to pay for your gas or not even being allowed into a store without a male relative escort. -
Thanks for the POV. NO the County has not released those names and based on what has transpired over the last coupe of years I do think that some people have every right to be concerned about what has transpired. Its nice to know that there a few folks that remain optimistic about humans and their ability to learn from history. I'll stick to the POV that humans dont change and therefore history is cyclical. As for Valentines Day-- the history behind it interesting. http://www.cbn.com/spirituallife/ChurchandMinistry/churchhistory/st_valentine_the_real_story.aspx

The point about Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, Kim Jun il, etc is that they all compiled lists and investigated people. Its a slippery slope. History shows that most govt officials don't make lists for cheezes and giggles. They have plans for those on those lists.... Humans can be absolutely brutal to those that disagree or are just different with them for whatever reason. I can think of many points in history where hundreds of thousands to millions were massacred, rounded up, etc-- Armenia,Yugoslavia, Ukranian Holodomor, the Vendee Revolt during the French Revolution, Stalin, Australians

No , I am just fleshing out my evil dictator section of my library. I also have an atrocities section that needs fleshing out and would welcome a book or two on the Vendee and my slavery section needs a book or two on the Barbary trade.. I'd be glad to attach my Amazon wish list if anyone cared to contribute.....

At this point, we really need a distraction from all the airport crappo so maybe some bird flu would be welcome relief, lol

I found a Yorkie yesterday evening and took it to be scanned this morning. The telephone number the microchip for the dogs owner, Holly Porter, is not accepting phone calls. So, if someone knows a Holly Porter, let her know I may have her dog. Thanks!!!

environment Sen. Lindsey Graham says climate change is man-made
Rose Luxemburg replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Climate change is real. It is caused by changes occurring on the Sun that are cyclical in nature. I am sure that man has some impact on the climate. What has the greater influence- man or Sun? My vote goes for the Sun. I wish I could sent some the GOP back in time-- maybe they could have fun riding dinosaurs, lol -
Thanks for correcting me. I thought Alexander had voted against it based on something read on FB, lol. Good for Gravely, there are many things I like about him..

BOC Chairman's Discretionary Spending
Rose Luxemburg replied to michaelsudan's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think some context would be useful. How much is this BOC chairman's discretionary spending versus Jerry Shearin's?
