Pubby, this thread is merely to point out the fact that one commission chairman campaigned against a sitting commission chairman for the exact same things he is now doing. I'm not a fan of Jerry Shearin for the same reasons I'm not a fan of David Austin. Do as you say you are going to. Ahhhh, I get it, David didn't campaign against Jerry building the airport, it was "clever" advertising. I think my critical reading skills are fine, I think somone needs to brush up on comprehension. But then again, I guess David has always been for the airport. Oh and those planes flying overhead are at about 10,000 feet, quite a difference in 1,000 and 10,000, but I guess my critical thinking skills aren't up to your standards either.

From what I understand all that land across from the Hospital is to be used for Medical businesses only and the conference center the Chamber of Commerce wants. What part of, "while the land may be available", no soil testing, no site assessments, no money, no nothing except the airport and parks......oh yea, parks, do you not understand?

Sadly, it's part of growing up. At 18 I KNEW everything, yep sure I did. Just glad my mom forgave me for being so darn "smart". But once I left, I was on my own. A discussion of returning home, never happened.

Pubby, attorneys in this line of work probably don't have to hack in to bank accounts to get the information they need. There are legal ways to obtain that information. Many, many people have their bank accounts compromised on a daily basis, heck I would take a wild guess and think it could be in the 100s of thousands. Really, this is a bizarre accusation.
