  9. I'm an MJ fan. His influence on music and dance are undeniable. Whatever sins he may or may not have committed, he has payed for now.
  10. I like the way you think!! We can call him Dallas DAVE!! If he sees his shadow on ground hog day we'll have a margarita! If he doesn't see his shadow it's tequila shooters!
  11. This is the photographer we used and she is WONDERFUL! http://www.milanaphotography.com/ She photographed our wedding and our oldest daughter's wedding. Papi and I got married at The Whitlock Inn in Marrietta. They did everything, flowers, linens, catering, even provided a wedding planner. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! We spent in the $10- $12,000 range. Our oldest was married atThe Grande at Kennesaw. Same sort of thing where they did everything. And about the same price range, may have been even a little less.
  12. Squirrels, chipmunks, and raccoons!! OH MY!! We have a ground hog that lives under the big tree at the turn in our driveway! I didn't know WHAT THE HECK it was the first time I saw him!

  16. We went down to Warm Springs last weekend and saw this fellow: He's a Summer Tanager. Lived in Georgia all my life and he's the first one I've seen. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Summer_Tanager/lifehistory We have a five acre lake behind the house, so I keep the binoculars handy to get a look at any feathered visitors. .
  17. My DD lives in Dahlonega most of the year because she goes to NGCSU. She loves it there.

  22. Is that the official day to celebrate the 4th of July?? Has anyone seen any signs up? Maybe at the front of your subdivisions? I just want to be sure we celebrate on the right day. How embarrassing would it be to be out celebrating the 4th of July and no one else is??
  23. I'll take the rain. Just keep the WIND!! Last thunderstorm blew over my garden pots!
