Seems like we hear these stories every summer. How very sad for all involved. How long before the pet in the car stories start to come too.

It didn't seem to be bothering her at all. There was quiet a large flock of mallards, 2 pekins, and a few, what I can only describe as, Pekin/mallard crosses. Looked like the Pekins been getting busy with the lady mallards! Although they LOOKED liked hens, those Pekins SOUNDED like boys. Missing the drake feather, but weren't really loud enough to be hens.

Thanks. Too bad we weren't able to catch her. I never thought of it that way! She may be the ENVY of all the other hens!! What with her nose piercing and all!!

I gave Papi a new red dot scope for the .22 and a wirelss meat/grill thermometer. Now he can sit in the living room sipping a frosty adult beverage and monitor the temp of whatever may be cooking on the grill or the smoker!
