Paulding County Beach??? I have quite a few family members in PCB. Some came up to my uncle's in Warner Robbins. Some stayed. The news has been reporting that this is the strongest hurricane to hit the area in recorded history. I love the one jack wagon resident on the news this morning who said, "Meh, I've seen worse." No, no sir, you haven't.

I wish America would find that spirit again. We were not black, white, Hispanic, Muslim, Christian, atheist, etc. We ARE AMERICANS! I was watching a show about restaurants recently and the owner of this Italian place in NY made the comment that he wasn't Italian American, he was American with Italian heritage. I wish more people would feel that way. We are Americans FIRST who can celebrate their heritage.

I was on my way in to work. Heard it on the radio and at first thought it was some kind of sick radio prank. I quickly realized it wasn't. I got to work as fast as I could and grabbed the TV from the break room and brought it up to the customer care desk at the Kroger I was working at that day and we watched it all happen live. I will never forget the fear, the sadness, the hopelessness, the awfulness of that day and the days after. #NeverForget

I've been checking the news often watching for reports. Praise God amd God bless the rescuers! Prayers for the family of Saman Gunan, the diver that lost his life trying to rescue these boys. 8 out and 5 more to go!

I see (and have been guilty of) people checking their phones at red lights, while in a drive through line, etc. That is now also illegal. The biggest confusion for some people I've seen has been the use of using internet streaming services on your phone while driving. It's my understand that you can still listen to your Pandora, Tidal, podcast, etc as long as you set it to play while you're parked in a legal parking space, and then don't touch your phone again until back parked in a legal parking space.

You're welcome! The RCA brand is currently $97 on amazon. The igloo brand is a good one also.

We purchased a portable ice maker from Amazon for the motorhome. Paid just under $100. Might be an option for you. Makes great cubed ice and will put out up to 26 lbs of ice a day!! Once the hopper is full, I dump it into a gallon zip bag and stick it in the freezer. Then you can knock the bag on the counter a few times to break apart the ice for use. LOVE my portable ice maker!
