well said and I agree. I mean, its temporary! I dont understand why any woman thinks she will make a good mother FOREVER who refuses to put down a nasty, dangerous and unhealthy habit for a FEW months.

As a hairstylist of 20+ years, you get what you pay for, especially with color. I'd go for something low maintanance so I could have it done a couple fewer times a year and go to the best and pay for the best.

My young step-daughters mother smoked during both pregnancies. She was told repeatedly to stop but didnt. EVERYTIME I see her(even in pics), she has a cigarette in her hand . I am probably more repulsed than the average person by cigarettes but thats just me. She KNEW it was bad for her babies and did it anyway and continues to smoke daily(round the clock)in the house or car with the 2 girls breathing it all in. I am right there with ya and I so respect you for being that way. We used to have the drill convo's too. Like Bill Cosby says, "if we dont tell our kids to take your clothes off, get in the shower, turn on the water, use soap, rinse off, dry off with a towel, get dressed...they'll be standing in the shower with their clothes on and no water running looking around." LOL Parents who dont show up and etc, I dont get it either. I agree with both of you. I thought she has gone too far but it's kinda her thing, you know. I love how genuine she is and open about her love of anything fake and gawdy(Im a lil' bit the same way, mahself.... ). I think thats what most of us love about her most. She IS beautiful on the inside and out and doesnt need the work...never has. Her waist is 19" I read recently. 19"! We CANNOT take our eyes off of our children for a minute. Dont get comfy and complacent. Unfortunately, there are evil slugs lurking about like this one. She SHOULD have been able to walk back to her own apt for a drink but had NO business being alone that young especially where so many unknowns are going and coming. I have recently bought a lot of clothes(maternity and baby clothes)from Ebay. You can search for "lots" of clothing where sellers put anywhere from 2-100 pieces together in a lot. I've noticed that these tend to get bids quickly and I now look for "lots" there first when I shop. Buyers really want to save on shipping fees and this way does that. Plus, you can sell a few pieces at a time instead of the slow go and possibility of a small, mis-matched few of leftoevers. I refuse to live in fear or be a prisoner in my home but I DO believe in personal responsiblity especially when it comes to safety. Although I respect and appreciate what police do, they are usually the "clean up". It is up to me to protect myself and my family. I thought the same thing when I read about the Italian cruise liner. I actually heard a Coast Guard Captain last night saying how imperitive it is on ANY cruise to check your room for safety details such as life vests,etcs and check the ship as well. I wouldnt avoid a cruise or a flight or whatever it was b/c of fear of the unknown

I shouldve been clearer on that. I tell them no. I know they are scamming and its also a safety issue then. Im just talking about an acquaintance or a random person holding a sign or standing somewhere begging. I agree with you there. No way you can or should give money to people in that situation. My brother is a dr. and VERY VERY generous. We go downtown together fairly often and when they ask him he replies, "Nobody GAVE me my dollar(or quarter or whatever amount their asking for)".

It does annoy me that this woman is obviously scamming good people out of hard earned money. However, I agree with you 100%. I give every chance I can and NEVER worry or think twice about if I just got taken or not. I believe my responsibilty is to bless others as I have been blessed. What they choose to do with it is between them and God. I was raised by a Mother who was extremely generous, practiced unconditional acceptance daily(but not stupidity) and let God do the judging. She taught us by example. It is none of my concern if they drink it, shop for diamonds with it or whatever.

Noooooooooooo. I didnt feel that way at all. I thought the acting was especially heartfelt, to be honest. Will cried during the duet with Dolly and her grandson in the movie as she was missing her recently deceased husband. He's a grown man who was not jumping up and down about seeing the movie. I always like more traditional gospel but they made the newer, secular songs sound great. I was impressed and I'm picky!
