I must be the worst of them them. I am offended that they now show people "smoking" them on TV. I love the fact that people are weaning thenselves off tobacco. I just hate the fact that impressionable children (and others) see this is ok. I do not want E-cigs to be ok in public, any more that I want smoke blown in my face as I walk into the door of a public building. I also wish we did not have the "dumbing down of America" with some of the "adult cartoon" shows that are so popular now. I do view most TV as "mindless wonder" , but some of it should help us learn, not become dum

A true pastor would be giving 100% to God, and not giving a hard working person a hard time. He is no man of God. He is an a$$. I suppose those do come in all walks of life. He too, will will be judged when the day comes.

The topic header reminded me of something awful from yesterday too. A mean woman in Aldi's slapped her pre-teen daughter (very hard) in the face in the store. I had to leave or go to jail.

I am up and running with my new service. So far I am thrilled! I did switch to a "smarter than me" phone, so I am trying to catch up with it. I have not traveled out of state with it yet, but do not forsee any problems with it. The first people I talked to about Straight Talk travel between Delaware & Florida a lot, and have no problems. WHEW!! I do hope this "half the price" service stays as good as it is, so far.

After my trip to San Fransisco I have become so very intolerant of the "homeless" that I am almost ashamed of myself. I saw a lot of healthy adults who did actually choose to live as homeless, so they could live off the system. They were provided food (even in resturants), clothing, medical care, pets and pet food, health care and necessities. They were also allowed to get free marijuana and other drug supplements. They sat on the public benches, smoking $8.00 a pack cigarettes and asking everyone for money. They did not clean up after the pets they were provided. They used the bathroom ev

If I had not done volunteer work at several children's homes in the area, I would have never started to imagine how often this is happening. There really are a LOT of children being used and abused, just for drugs for their parents.

Best not to drive in if possible. They will not allow a hood mounted machine gun. After a few months of driving the same roads, watching the same people block traffic as they smoke, read the paper, pick their noses, drink coffee, read maps, put on makeup, shave, dress, undress, all while talking on the phone, you will want one. Any couple that has made 40 years together deserve to invite and enjoy whom ever they want to come. People our ages feel that a little inappropriate, but the younger ones (that should be doing it) no longer feel the obligation to honor people like they used to. I thank all of you for your information. I have been researching for quite a while, but was still a little afraid to switch. I have looked on line and the phones are a lot cheaper, but they are asking a lot more for an activation package. Service is supposed to be $45.00 a month for unlimited everything, but on line is asking $125.00 for activation. I have no idea why. It seems they are just making up the difference in the cost of the phone? I am going to try Straight Talk, I just have to find a phone that comes with a 10 year old to teach me how to use the new phone.

I used to practice just using good ol cedar trees. They were the cheapest I could find. (free in my woods) They spiral cut easily and are very forgiving. If you cut too short, just keep triming the rest to match. They grow fast. I had some that I planted arond the trunk of an oak tree, and kept trimmed into a basket shape, with the handle looking like it went through the oak tree trunk. I highly recommend a trip to Cozemel. The landscapers there trim the Ficus trees into turtles, dolfins and such. It could take a LONG time to learn such a skill. Let me know if you need an apprentice.

we are talking cell service....anyone use Straight Talk? Any issues? I have used Verizon forever, but get tired of having to make a 30 minute call every other month to get additional (accidential, they say) charges off my bill. $45.00 a month unlimited would be about 1/2 what I pay now, and that sounds great. Only people I know that use it are out of state, but they love it. Anyone here?
