anjer1 replied to GreenThumbsnButterfingers's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I do not know when your incidents happened in Hiram, but I know personally the new Postmaster and she has in a short time really turned things around there, I would say she has been there a year. F.Y.I. The carriers and mail is being moved to Dallas for distribution.Retail will remain. -

My son 24 yo started getting dizzy about 2 weeks ago. He went to the Urgent care and they said everything was good on bloodwork, then he called me one Sat. during work and lunch break ,he was so dizzy that he wanted to go to E.R. Again all bloodwork was good, but they did find fluid behind the ear drum.,he went to Primary doc and they took blood and gave him Antivert. he has been taking it for about a week.No dizziness now. They call today and say everything is normal but he does have allergies. We also had his hearing checked last week. So I just wondered if anyone else has this issue?

I spoke to the EMA this morning and she directed me up Highway 278 so I ended up at Clear Creek Subdivision where there was a church group cooking hotdogs so I went around the neighborhood passing out food to some that wanted it and left from there and went to Poole Elementary. All the contractors and school workers were very Thankful. We fed around 100. A husband and wife came and brought Coffee and doughnuts. Also a man from a little church in Woodstock came and brought a truck load of bottled water, he also took some to Southern Trace and Clear Creek. If you want to carry anything up there

I do not drink, but I will not even take my kids to Chuckie Cheese because of the drunk parents there. It has nothing to do with them serving it. It is the parents that do not know when to stop. If this does occur, then I will drive them to Dazzles.

I just wanted to tell everyone that I just spoke to a 911 non emergency operator and he took my info down and would have someone to call me back. I was told to send a email to mphipps@paulding.gov and they would let me know where I could take the food and bottled water.

O.k. ya'll. Sorry PCSCharli, but I did already get bread. I have ham /cheese for sandwiches, PBJ for sandwiches and Homemade Chicken salad on Croisants, chips and water. Now I have checked with some church friends of mine to see about getting this food over there at noon tomorrow but are they gonna let people in to get it to the victims to serve them food. Next I know when I was hit with the flood , everyone giving food went to subdivisions, I was not in a subdivision so I would like to try to get it to people that were hit but kinda out on their own. Does anyone know of anyone like this. Ple

hubby is on his 3rd. round of it. He hardly ever gets sick. I had 2 rounds of it. We have been to the doctor with it each time and we get rid of it and it comes back. It has been the worst this winter. -
we are in this boat together with a whole bunch of grandparents raising grandkids. We do it for the children, not for the parents.

Nope, I can relate . I am a woman, a grandmother as matter of fact, step son got married in 95, to a woman and had 2 kids. marriage lasted until 02. he was ordered to pay 800.00 a month to mother. He met another one and had 4 kids with that one. Now I have guardianship of these 4. Where he went wrong. If you are paying support for 2 @ 800 a month, do not have anymore until you can afford it.I know a deadbeat dad right now that is getting visitation but is not worried that his son is eating ,clothing, etc. As long as he gets him every other weekend. And he has a county job too.He has not even o

I was just thinking that because she is a student that her parents could be notified by the school. I would want to be. I am a parent that took a car away from a daughter and put it on the street for sale for any other PCHS student to purchase, Call me tough, mean , whatever, but I bought it and I expect obedience , I don't cut no slack. My oldest is 34 and youngest is 24. Never had no car issues with the other 4 kids but that one time with one daughter. She is 26 now.She had to work for her next car. I told her the rules before she got it. I also told her break em and lose it.

What you are wanting to do is called controlled burning, that has to be handled through the Ga. Forestry Comm., but because you live in a subdivision chances are you cannot do that. If you have a homeowners ass. they will tell you no.Farmers or anyone that burns off thier field will have to have it controlled by the fire dept and I do not see them letting you do it. Lime it like everyone says. The problem you will run into is finding pelletized lime at this time of the year that is not really expensive. Good luck

You have'nt seen nothing yet, I just read in the SouthEast Farm Press that the goverment is closing more than 250 USDA offices which is where farmers go to apply for programs to plant thier crops. So if the farmer cannot get the subsidies to plant the crop then what are they gonna do? This is also the office where alot of them get crop insurance.
