We live off of Davis Mill North and a little while ago I heard a very loud helicopter hovering. My son came in and said that he saw it take off from the empty field near Mustang. He said it was "military" and not a Life Flight copter. Did anyone else see it and why would it be in the field? Just curious.

My new form of dealing with unwanted calls is this.......... My son bought an air horn in a can at the dollar store. I love that thing. Now, keep in mind that I myself am what most people refer to as a telemarketer......I am a phone salesman. BUT if someone tells me NO then NO is the answer and I move on. If I tell someone NO and they do not accept the answer they will be introduced to my little "can" friend.

We have had Metro for 5 years and love it. The only thing that gives us trouble is when we go to my sisters in Temple. There is no service around Roses store. Other than that it is awesome.

Not sure that I understand your question. I was thanking Raiders for sharing the love that people had for the man and how hard it is for older people when they feel that they have become a burden. You could tell that she cared for him.

I am sorry to say that the real numbers are really much worse. These numbers do not factor in: 1) Those who have had their unemployment run out and cannot reapply. 2) Those who have just given up. 3) The ones like me who were sub-contractors (self-employed) who CANNOT file for unemployment.

I understand and respect what you say. However, there was a great deal of speculation on FB also. Either way, a man is dead and that is tragic.

Interesting. This leads me to believe that speculation says that suicide was not the case.
