  1. You make great and valid points. At the same time tho we did not have any "real" information about the kids at EPHS when we all went crazy on here, myself included. My point is that I as a parent am more concerned that a child threatened children than I am that a child destroyed things with paint.
  2. Why has this topic died? I think that we should be way more outraged over this than the EPHS crime. Yes, EPHS was a crime and should have had attention. BUT it went on for days with thousands of views and comments. This kid made serious threats and the topic is dormant.
  3. It is a nice little shop. I just want one like Barnes and Noble where I can browse, drink coffee and unwind while skimming thru a new book.
  4. <<<-----------Does not iron. Wrinkle releaser is my friend. (Spray starch and tugging does the same thing).
  5. Sorry that I offended you. Stereotypes are a way of life sadly. It is MY OPINION that the boy does not "look" like a killer. That does NOT mean that he is not and I am beyond happy that the threat was taken seriously.
  6. You are correct. Just most of them "look" troubled and he looks happy. Just my opinion. I am VERY glad that this was thwarted.
  7. I agree. BUT, he "looks" like an all American boy. He does not fit what I would consider "the profile" based on his picture.
  8. Perhaps West Metro Driving School. They are in front of the Dallas Wal-Mart next to the Hibbett Sports Shop.
  9. Huge pet peeve of mine. That and closing Girl Scout Cookie stands.
  10. Interesting question, I would like to know as well. And a little hi-jack.........I have been wondering about another case in the county as well. What happened to the boy who hit the kids on Old Cartersville road causing the death of a well known high school football player?
  11. Good luck with that. You better sell it before the stinky fields start stinkin.
  12. That would be awesome, or a Trader Joe's.
  13. Sorry for reading your post the wrong way. And sadly, I have had several people I love wrongly arrested in this county. Truce called and my condolonces for the loss of your friend.
  14. But yet you were nosey enough to read a post about an arrest in Paulding County when you don't even live here anymore. Are you that bored in your perfect little town?
  15. I like the way you think. There could be a go-cart track that circles it as well.
  16. I agree with the pool. A place with an indoor/outdoor one would be nice.
  17. That would be correct at this time. BUT, in a year or so when it is foreclosed on due to no revenue somebody can buy it for a race track.
  18. That would be nice but it needs something to go with it. I do not care for Stars and Strikes but I would like some kind of activity place similar to that here. Maybe something like Malibu Grand Prix used to have in Kennesaw.
  19. Places like that are where it is best to use a pre-paid card like the Green Dot ones.
  20. I sense a pattern here. Meet me at Chick-Fil-A today and I will buy you lunch. My treat, anything you want today.
  21. It has been a while since we have played this game but I am ready for it again. 1) What business would you like to see in Paulding? 2) What can Paulding do without? I'll start. I want: A good New Bookstore Boston Market YMCA with an indoor and outdoor pool Sonny's A nice family place like a Zoo would be good. A good industrial/manufacturing company to bring local jobs. Perhaps something like a Parts distribution center. Drive-In Theater, the airport would be a good location for that. What Paulding can do without: The Airport The sidewalk to nowhere Another nail
