does anyone know what is happening in New Hope? fire and rescue units went flying down bone circle turning onto old Cartersville rd. then I heard more sirens. hope everyone is ok.

YOU DO NOT WANT THIS PLANT. it is as bad as kudzu. in fact you may as well just plant kudzu it blooms once a year also. I planted some years ago, it ate the trellis, then it ate the tree beside of it, even bent the top of this oak tree, now it is EVERYWHERE. it only grows a few feet before it grows VERY STRONG roots. you can not kill it. I spray it with weed killer every few days during growing season. all that does is deform the leaves. we cut it down everywhere that it pops up. it belongs in a science fiction movie. PLEASE don't plant it because you will be spending all of your days chopping

I also was in tears by the end of the story while trying to read this to my husband. now I know that my daddy who passed away in December is enjoying the company of many relatives and friends, but also parkay his yellow cat friend. along with all the other furbabies, and satin and whisk.

there will be a festival in Rockmart on Saturday. the weather should be pretty good. lot's of fun things to do and buy. I will be there with my booth selling my dried potato jewelry and something new for me, dog bandannas that I stamped with one of a kind designs from potatoes .hope to see you there.

good grief, when I first looked at mama eagle she was not moving. I thought her head was on the top left, covered in snow. I was ready to cry until she moved her head and her beak showed on the middle right. scared me but good wish she had a blanket or a roof. poor thing.

so sorry to hear of you losing your furbaby in December. you said you were not ready for a new friend but I know sometimes God is ready for you to have a new friend. just hang in there. and take all of the above advice. I also agree with no declawing. heal, have patience and have fun with your heaven sent new friend.

I just love to watch the eagles and the pandas. it is so cool. I hope the eggs are o.k. during all this cold weather.

heads up all of these wild animals are probably hungry so keep your pets inside. because the will eat dogs and especially cats. your house pets are no match for wild animals. they are accustomed to catching their food, that is how they survive. they do not get their food from a box or can. it is just the way nature is, so do not make your pets pay with their lives, just let them stay safe inside.

My Daddy passed away about 6p.m. Saturday evening. He had been sick a long time and had suffered enough. It is hard to let him go but I didn't want him to suffer any more. Please don't say he is in a better place, because he felt his place with beside Mama. They were married 63 years. Just keep us in your prayers for the days to come. t

the street fair that was rained out in the fall will take place on Saturday December 7th. this time we will be INSIDE the old courthouse located on the square in Buchanan, ga. no matter what the weather will be you can shop inside. I will be there with my dried potato and beads jewelry. SO COME SEE what all the vendors will have and do some holiday shopping.

I hate to see the tradition change but, A GIANT TREE has been saved. and we need all of our trees. they could plant a tree somewhere in the lot and it could start a new tradition. they can afford to plant a big tree and watch it grow.

if they do not reply then maybe someone could gather it up and return to sender. if you have their tag you can probably find out where they live. or the trash may provide an address. years ago my daddy saw a person dump out a bag of trash. he knew this person, so he gathered it up and returned it. they did not see him do it. when the original owner complained to a group of people. daddy told him some s.o.b. had done the same thing in his yard. NEVER happened again.
