Other small business owners HELP!
Computer Rescue replied to QualityCutsLawncare's topic in Business NEWS
What she said.. She will get you up to speed and legal. -
Replacing a power supply is not necessarily difficult but as Pubby stated you will want to find one that fits your case and the mounts. There are a couple of other things too look for as well. However, the AT&T tech cannot be certain that it is your power supply without physically testing it. They are right in that it COULD be the power supply but it could also be your motherboard, bad memory, bad hard drive, why I have even seen CD/DVD drives keep a computer from turning on. Now, your major computer retail outlets will have power supplies but they will be costly. Especially if

It may not be your power supply. As others have said you go anywhere to buy a power supply as long as the connections, inputs, and outputs match. If it turns out not to be a power supply issue give us a call and we can run a complete diagnostic of the computer to determine what is exactly wrong. Good Luck! Hey folks, I know everyone has a cell phone these days and of course I do too. I do a lot of driving making mobile calls to businesses and homes across several counties. Something that I have seen is that cell phones used like a standard phone is just not a good idea. In the last week alone I have witnessed two near car accidents where a driver on a cell phone crossed traffic illegal and unsafely. Luckily for both cell phone using drivers the oncoming drivers weren’t on cell phones and managed to stop before having an accident. Now, I know cell phones are a must these days and

Last Friday at the West Paulding Network group that meets every Friday at Audrey’s Café @ 8:00AM…. (Thanks LPPT!) we discussed what we expect from businesses that we call upon for services. You know...Heating & A/C, computer repairmen, painters, landscapers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or any business that provides a service such as chiropractors. Now, everyone had great answers in the group which is why it is such a great group of businesses! Of course the predominant answer was customer service which is priority in any great company and we at Computer Rescue of West

Have you ever heard of burning a yard?
Computer Rescue replied to dumbestgirlintheworld's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Well, I am not an expert but I do have some "forestry" experience. Foresters use control burns such as burning a yard to do many things. One of which to kill weeds and brush which can hoard limited resources for the larger trees. Also, fire is used to release dormant seed banks in the ground. Seeds that are prevented from starting due to the lack of resources such as water. Also, the dead material acts as a fertilizer to fellow plants while at the same time nature has a built mechanism that causes plants that have been damaged by fire to go into "survival mode" and begin growing quickly i -

Hey Folks! You know I got to thinking about Paulding.com and how much we all have come to rely on its informative news, community forums, coupons, directories, and so much more. Then I thought…surely there is a way we can show our appreciation to the good folks who keep Paulding.com running. You know it isn’t easy manning the station 7 days a week managing advertisements, news, registrations, forums, and so on. Why…dealing with all of us regulars alone is a full time job! Has anyone consider just how lucky we are to have access to such a unique community asset? Really, conside

You keep IE so that you can access Microsoft Windows Update center and download updates. However, this is typically done automatically by Windows and appears near your clock as a "Shield" alerting you to new updates. Oh...and those updates are important so make sure your computer is up to date.

From a computer geek stand point... IE is the swiss cheese of internet browsers... In other words, it is bulky, unstable, and less secure. Typically, for those who want to change browsers but don't want to learn too many new tricks I would recommend Firefox while I prefer Google Chrome myself. Have a Good One!

I was talking to myself about this very thing the other day...

Thank you so much! Always great to hear from another satisfied customer! Reviving older computers is a specialty of ours ...it's a bit more complicated then just adding memory...you have to push all the right buttons... Have a great day!

I have attended this course before and found it very useful and educating. As a mobile computer repair company and a Paulding native I have certainly seen my fair share of severe weather. I am also a bit of a weather nut.. Thanks for posting!

Replaced my hard drive..................
Computer Rescue replied to nae1060's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Give me a call so I can get you on the right path. If you took the main hard drive that your operating system was stored (Windows XP, Vista, 7) and replaced that drive with a new one then you will have to format the hard drive and then install your operating system. I recommend using your trusted computer repairman...maybe me.. as there is more to it such as updates, drives, transfer old files ect. However, if you have added a hard drive just to be used as storage then the drive needs to be formatted (NTFS type). In any case, call me and I will help. Steven -
Crashed? Define crashed please. Also, if someone does have a recovery CD/DVD they are going to need to know the exact model of your laptop usually found near/around the keyboard. For example: Toshiba Satellite L505D-S5965 Give me a call before 10:00PM tonight or tomorrow after 8:00AM if you have any questions or need any advise. Good luck, Steven Computer Rescue of West Georgia
