  3. Been working almost everyday keeping good folks and their computers playing. Tomorrow is another day with happy clients and sick computers needing rescuing. I welcome 2011 with open arms!

  5. There really isn't any one brand of router that can be recommended with any significant differences. There are a few questions to ask yourself. 1. How many devices will be connected to this router? 2. How many devices will connect wirelessly and how many will connect with a wire? 3. If wireless is desired, where will it be located in the house and where is this in relation to all the wireless devices you plan to connect? 3.a: If you have walls, floors, or electronics between the wireless devices then your wireless router signal will be less the further away from the router.
  6. Well, if you are able to access your internet with your Xbox direct connected then it is obvious that your router is the issue. You need to access the router via a computer directly connected to the router. Every router has a built in "computer" that allows you to adjust the configuration of that router. In other words, you can tell the router to open certain ports, allow certain devices, or configure the router to allow certain connections.   9. Now, surely some folks on here got some of those new digital gadgets. Like an iPhone, kindle, or even a new laptop? Now, I'll admit I was not so lucky and Santa did not bring me one those new toys but...I have friends who have them I will be living vicariously through them!

  12. Great gifts! Well lets see here....my mom gave me a set of bathroom towels among other things + she gave me a 2011 calendar with all of the family's important dates such as birthday's and anniversaries. A life saver! So...what else did everyone get??

Keep in mind that not all spyware is removed by Malwarebytes and usually requires other additional programs to clean a computer.   19. A Kindle can be fun. I just worked with one the other day that couldn't access the local WiFi (wireless) network in the home but it only took a little time to get that Kindle on WiFi and searching for books!   21. Ebay is safe as long as you follow a few simple rules of thumb already mentioned on here. Clicking on the user/seller allows you to view the comments given by that seller's buyers.
