Bloody Marys every morning...PBR & Fat Tire the rest of the day. Then, in the evening (before switching to tea) a nice hot Bailey's & coffee or 2. We've taken FULL advantage of not going anywhere.

My future MIL gave me a Pandora bracelet with some meaningful charms, also, to welcome me into the family. My kiddos & I also went with the future family (all 11 of us) on a Caribbean Cruise from the 19th-26th. We had a blast! Got back in time to still enjoy the snow. My SO gave me a beautiful turquoise & opal (my birthstone) dragonfly necklace, which I got so many compliments on, on the cruise. I got a tan for Christmas. Then, when we returned home...Mom gave me a 3 piece luggage set (sure would've been nice to have for the trip as mine is all raggedy), Mom's fav

My 10th grader....same deal. I can just see him scrambling to text me in between classes or under his desk ...hoping i fall for his pity party. Not a chance today. Leaving on our cruise in the morning, and i am using today as productively as I can to tie up any loose ends. I have no time for hauling it over to NPHS today!

My bf just called from Rock Store Rd on High Shoals.....there are 8 car & trucks there. Noone can go any further. Hes contemplating parking & walking the rest of the way home....past the church. I feel so helpless right now.

BF just called & said he's stuck in that mess, too. He's been on the road from Marietta since 5. Bless their hearts!

HA!!! For real, though. I delivered pizzas back in the day. This is when we made the best tips...and it was always exciting. That being said...you couldnt get me to leave now for the biggest tip in the world. Well, maybe..let me re-think this....

Little Ceasars...lol! My BF is making his way to my house (slowly but surely). We leave on our cruise Saturday. Supposed to be packing & wrapping up presents tonite. This ice on the roads has made me feel bad that he has to stop, but...I'm not going out for ANYTHING!

We're going to last game of the regular season against the Panthers! That was my Christmas present from my BF. yay! Tried to see about how much NFC Championship tix were, to no avail. Sure they will be outrageous as well. Glad I'm getting one game in this season~

Turn the key and there's one click (on the inside dash), dashboard lights up (not dim at all), headlights come on fine, stereo, fine....just doesn't turn over. At all.

Thanks, FB. We did try tapping the starter, to no avail. Hopefully, it's something minor. Dang, these are the days when i wish i had some mechanical experience, myself!

EGADS!!! It's not the battery...took it out and replaced it last night after it wouldn't crank. Dashboard lights, headllights, stereo..all working fine, but still not turning over. Thinking it may be the ignition switch (hopefully) or the starter. I'm broke like no joke after getting the kids a couple of Christmas presents with what little money i did have.....I can't even get the car back to the house. Hopefully, my miracle call will come from the guy my dad told me to call & we can work out some sort of pymt plan or something. Geesh......when it rains....

Flew to St Louis on the 11th for the Falcons game. No difference since last I flew. I'm going on a cruise in a couple of weeks. I wonder how TSA works with embarkation onto ships?
