At 8 months pregnant...I just can't stop thinking of the cupcakes.

I just had to call to check on my Mom. She works right there and was out to lunch when it all happened! She's ok, thank God!

We were on the Legend the past Christmas. Now, we're having a baby in September. lol! We took the 7 day to Cozumel, Belize, Grand Cayman, and Isla Roatan (same cruise that you're considering). Thanks to my in-laws, we had a total of 6 adults & 5 kiddos & we had a BLAST! The ship, though older, was nice. The staff was very pleasant. The ports were so much fun. Belize was fun, fun, fun. We did the cave tubing which was a trip! Roatan, Honduras (which is where Mahogany Bay is, was a nice small beach where you can swim, chill on the beach, eat, drink, the works). Very relaxing!! NG, we had the same problem when we got back from the lake on Tuesday. The air was working (but working hard) when we left. When we came back it was 89 degrees in the house. The hubs called the company they use at his business. They came out & found we have a leak at the outdoor unit. He put refrigerant in and said our coil was still under warranty with Trane. He ordered it & is having it shipped to his shop. Then when we're ready will come put the coil in for $760ish. Just paid him almost $300 to add the freon. Damn, couldn't we almost get a new unit for all of that? I was looking for

Eh...what she said ^^. Plus, it's just too damn hot...or I just got my fill over the years.

Woohoo!! I'd be surprised if we didn't have classes together at some point already. Yes. I am scheduled to take the test on Aug 2nd...9 am. I just hope my pregnant brain doesn't fail me.

This is what she told me. I haven't looked into transferring myself. I'm pretty content at CTC.

I'm finishing up the last (2) of my core classes this summer quarter @ CTC. A lady in my Anatomy & Physiology II class told me last night she went to see an advisor at GA Highlands and told her you DO have to have an SAT score that has been taken within past 6 yrs to get into their program. I'll be taking the TEAS this Fall (taking the 1st semester switchover off to have a baby), then should be in the Nursing Program by Spring Sem....if all goes as planned.

Let's see...BB King/Buddy Guy @ Chastain Park on 6/5, and An Evening with Furthur on 7/31. Phish would be cool, but I don't thin I have the energy for that one this go round.

IMO, I don't like seeing a child literally running around with a bottle in hand, but who am I to judge?

No heat! Not after I got my last power bill....it was so low from not running a/c or heat. Blankets & robobobos this morning. Of course, noone wanted to get up.

We lost power here on High Shoals for about an hour just after American Idol went off. The kids were freaking out. No damage and no real heavy weather, Thank God!

And, PLEEEEEEASE take your garbage home with you. I live right in front of the falls, and every year it gets so nasty from people leaving styrofoam containers, cups, beer cans/bottles, dirty socks, diapers, etc when they leave. There are no trash receptacles, so it is up to all of us to keep it nice and clean. Thanks!!!

Been to the Brewhouse many a time, Mrs B. Love it...love Little 5. I'm 4 months preggo, so going to all of these places isn't QUITE as much fun since I can't have a beer or 4 along with the great food.

Ooh, I like LaFonda & Agave, too! Also, Krog Bar or Loca Luna are great places for tapas! YuM!!! I'm getting hungry just thinkiing of all the places I love to eat!

Six Feet Under. Great Bloody Marys, raw oysters, shrimp & grits....really everything is yummy. On Memorial, across from Oakland Cemetary. Doc Cheys for some good homemade Chinese. It's on Memorial, also. Oh!! And, we ate at P'Cheen the other night. It's on Highland Ave. Cool little place. They change the menu every 3 days, and the food is awesome, interesting, nicely plated...and it just has a really cozy atmosphere. We eat DT all the time. Hope you find somewhere you ENJOY!!

I used to be much more active on p.com, under another screen name. Now, I just decide to take the road less traveled, and post only now & again. I found out recently that I'm pregnant, again, at 38. I'm nervous about it, yet thrilled. I really miss beer & the fact that I won't be traveling to the Wanee Festival this year. I'm also kicking a$$ in school again, after being out of the loop for 12 years, and hope to be in the nursing program at the end of Spring quarter.

High Shoals was looking like 278 this morning. I've never seen so many cars on this road. People were coming down Raccoon Creek to get back to 61, and from 61 to Raccoon Creek to go North. Hoping everyone is ok.

We're going to the game!! Headed to SO's house in Kirkwood this afternoon. My DS & SO are going to the hockey game tonite, and the two of us are going to the game tomorrow night. Santa was really good to us this year, and knows how much we love our FALCONS (oh, and a good Thrashers game). I'm soooooo excited! This will be the 1st playoff game we've ever been to. The tickets are really cool...sparkly silver & a big RISE UP stamped on it! I have total faith in my Falcons. BRING IT ON, Cheeseheads!!!
