I was wondering that myself after reading that comment.

I went yesterday and purchased some clothes just out of spite. I got a great looking and comfortable pair of jeans for $20 and found some great shirts for less than $10. I was able to go in, get clothes, and get out in 10 minutes without browsing all of the clearance and sale racks since everything was VERY clearly labeled on the top of every rack. I also knew exactly how much I had spent the whole time without reading the "red dot price" or taking "80% off of the lowest marked price", or using my "25% off coupon for anything over 50 dollars on every third day from 9pm to 11pm when its

Melissa Morrison for State House District 19

Lets throw another wrench in the argument. It isn't that hard to create a fake license. I know it is harder than it used to be, but it is by no means impossible. -
From all of the threads I have read they do not so much have a lawsuit as they have a settlement that the county refuses to acknowledge for essentially unlawfully seizing land. The lawsuit was all but over until certain elected officials chose to spend more of the counties money fighting the settlement than it would have cost to settle. So it doesn't look like I am supporting the Morrison's, I have never spoken to them about this topic and am basing this solely on the documents I have seen and threads I have read. This I believe is part of what put a bad taste in Mrs. Morrison's mout

I had it for a grand total of 1 week. I tried last year what was supposed to be the fastest available and it was not even as good as dial-up. Unlike Dial-up and Broadband Satellite works one way at a time. So it will send data, and then receive data which means you will never be able to work fluidly. The data also works in peaks. It may peak at 1Mb/s, but it may slow down to 56k which is dial up. All of this for way more than broadband usually costs. You may be better seeing if AT&T offers 3G and getting a hotspot. I say AT&T because their 3G is 3-10 times faster than Verizon.

I feel sorry for anyone getting on this thread hoping to see Melissa's views on the topics raised. This thread has been hijacked with lots of senseless arguments. -

Am I the only person that felt that the questions were directly aimed to help Paulette out and give her an upper hand over the two non criminals in the race? In what way does Zero base Budgeting have any major impact on the local people and government compared to what we would really like to focus on. And as for the second question about small business regulations, those are almost all Federally mandated or come from agencies such as OSHA, very little is impacted by the State House. Paulette served on the Zero Based Budgeting Committee so mores than anyone, this put the ball directly -

Ok, I have a new question based on what I have heard and seen from last night about the D19 race. Who came up with these questions for last night? The questions were directly aimed at information that Paulette knows about but yet are not in any way the questions that the majority of the people of District 19 care about. Paulette had a piece of paper with her response pre written in reply to all of the questions which she read directly from, while the other two candidates were not given the questions before hand and were just given a vague idea of what might be discussed. Ok, so what is your issue with JCP then? This is exactly how they do. More so even than Macy's. Macy's works at a much higher margin than JCP, but yet plays more pricing games. I like knowing that everything on the rack is one set price without the lies of what the fake price was before false markdowns were taken and before my BS coupon from the mail is applied.

I guess I am the only person that likes knowing what the price is going to be up front and not being lied to by the company and relying on them cutting profits for a few days to get me to buy something. I have shopped there more now than ever because it is like shopping online. I know what I am going to pay when I walk through the door.

It is technically possible, but Verizon would have to agree, and flash the software onto the phone. Verizon as a policy will not do this. On the flip side Metro advertises that you can bring Verizon and Sprint phones to the service. I would not hold my breathe that Verizon will help you.

I honestly didn't know anything about the lies, but that just cements my decision even further. I wouldn't vote for him based on the way he conducts himself under the dome. He had the female circumcision bill killed essentially because he brought in an amendment to the bill to make it illegal for women to pierce anything other than ears. He followed this up last year by not just voting against letting his constituents vote for sunday sales, but he spoke on the floor, while balling his eyes out, about how passing the sunday sales option for the people would increase the amount of homosexuali -
They are making family data plans now. Any phone on the plan is unlimited phone and text, but you pay for a pool of data and then so much per phone that you add to the plan.

I have been with AT&T faithfully with my personal phone service for about 11 years (Cingular). But I have service with Verizon with my work phone and my hot spot. I have no complaints at all about AT&T and honestly love them for their fast 3G and LTE service. But in the same statement I am not loyal to them, but have not found anyone with the price, service, and speed to match yet. If that day comes I will switch in a heartbeat without a second thought.

I am not going to lie, I had never heard of Huey Long, but after looking him up I see what you mean about his questionable Tenure. However from what I read Pubby was not incorrect in his view that Huey Long was very devoted to his campaigns and very up front with citizens about his views. I believe this was the point of the gentlemen that he was focusing on in the comparisons to Mr. Dean. I met Mr. Dean a few different times in public and I have to agree he was one of the most approachable politicians I have ever met. -

Agreed, I am curious as to the local meaning of the term as well. I just figured for the sake of a quick thought inducement I would include what I knew of the term. -

Constitutional Conservatism is a phrase coined in the Mount Vernon Statement and is a list of values that many republicans rallied around in the 2010 elections as a direction the government should head in order to return the the conservative values it was founded upon. I am not speaking for Mrs. Morrison or if this is the way she means it, but I do know based on research this is one of the first mainstream uses of the term. Mount Vernon Statement "Constitutional Conservative" -
I will be there.

Definitely not a filter at all, I agree. I would rather make a decision based on a debate or face to face time. But for the other 99% that may never have that chance, this is better than voting based on the signs in the front yard. At least this way they can see what views some candidates have and how they respond to some questions. Heck, I knew i couldnt stand Carruth and Heath based on their record, but when I saw them in the debate and heard the way they responded I knew immediately that not only couldnt I stand them, I was genuinely disgusted, lol.
