  1. I'm actually surprised that nobody has offered here. (Though they may have done so via PM.)
  2. That's who I was going to suggest. Haven't used them for this specific type of work but they've been great for other things.
  3. So it seems to me that it comes back around to the parents again. Somebody got it for him and it wasn't the scouts ... no matter how much the media plays up the whole cub scout thing.
  4. I appreciate that you're trying to find the better side of the whole thing but there is no possible way that the flag came to look like that as a result of the flooding, therefore there would be no acceptable reason to fly it in such condition. I don't think anybody was intentionally being disrespectful but it is unfortunate that it was permitted to get that bad. I really do hope that they did the right thing and donated it to a local organization for proper retirement. (I fear it ended up in the trash, though.)
  5. Where does 78 come into Paulding? Or 176?
  6. Thank you very much. I'll get it corrected immediately.
  7. I know of a few other smaller ones coming up that aren't yet on that calendar that I linked. They will be soon, though. And the Outdoor Market is a great place to spend some time and money.
  8. You can check the calendar here ---------------> link
  9. Some of the turns are deceptively tight and folks ignore the safe speed signs. It hits Ridge Rd at the 4-way stop where there is now a Shell station ... used to be Top Of The Ridge restaurant.
  10. That would explain why I didn't get an Alert from that system ... but somebody should have told my creek it wasn't supposed to flood. I get the WSB alerts for weather stuff so I did already know about the watch and warning.
  11. I am signed up for the Code Red Alerts and I got nothing today.
  12. What is the serial number, date, and image on reverse?
  13. Their stuff is gorgeous! I'm so glad they are coming back. Sending out "last call" email(s) on this show today.
  14. A wreck that my crew worked back home ... Mom put the youngest into a car seat but did not buckle the car seat into the car. She wrecked after losing control while trying to light a cigarette. Two of her three children were killed. The oldest, who we believe buckled himself in, was killed by the car seat as the youngest was being ejected. And the middle child died after being ejected. The only one to survive, the one in the car seat, had massive head trauma and sustained permanent brain damage.
  15. I've never had any trouble getting a call answered on the non-emergency line. Even if a person had to wait a minute or two, if it isn't an emergency, would it matter? Not speaking of anyone here necessarily but it always amazes me how there are people out there who complain about 911 response times yet they are often the same people who dial 911 to get directions or to report somebody parked illegally.
  16. The FOP/FOPA will have a limited number of free gun locks to hand out, among other things.
  17. I was just going to post about this, too. FOP/FOPA will be there, too. We have free gun locks to hand out as well as other things. Part of Project ChildSafe.
  18. If the need for CPR is initiated by respiratory arrest, not cardiac arrest. I'm also thinking that if there's a really big hole in the C of your ABCs, you might want to address that before doing too many compressions.
  19. Don't have an answer for you but ... your post reminded me of the email that I got from my mother about 2 months after she died.
