There was a young chef's academy in Acworth but I'm not sure if they're still there or not.

No updates yet. Thanks for asking. He's a very lucky man to have survived the wreck. -

Y'all please ... I said nothing about drinking. I said that I hate drunks. And they don't have to be behind the wheel to be dangerous/disruptive/destructive. -

I bought some tickets at Paulding Meadows but I'll have to get a few more. My kids would LOVE that house ... plus, it's for such a good cause!

(I wasn't having trouble .... just got a song stuck in my head when I read the OP.)

Just thought it would help folks if they had one place to go for answers and could cut down on duplicate (triplicate, and more) threads with the same issue. One thread wouldn't work but a temp forum would. The transition is going well ... if only more folks really understood what can (and often does) happen. There are clearly folks needing some extra attention on a few things, though. And we won't even go into the whole Lady Raider and the "newest posts" button.

Anybody else hearing "Hotel California" playing in the background? "...you can check out any time you like but you can never leave..."

something along the lines of a temporary "Working Out The Kinks" forum where folks can post their problems and those in the know can post the remedies and suggestions, etc. That way it is all easy to find, folks need only go one place to look for answers, and it helps keep the information easy to find. It would be a good way for folks to look for their own answers ... answers to issues already addressed by others.

Anyone know where I can get peppermint flavoring?
UnionMom replied to gtfamily's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Kroger, Food Lion, Publix, Ingles, WalMart ... it is a pretty basic flavoring that is available most times of the year but certainly available now. -
I had to encourage the kids to take more most of the night. At the end of the night when a carload of middle schoolers came by and stopped, I told them to take the last of it. The ones in front grabbed it all and just as I was about to intervene and make them share, they turned to the ones behind them and gave them probably more than half of the candy. It was a nice note to end the night on. And I am also one who doesn't mind the age, as long as there is a costume.
