If government offices are opening late tomorrow, one has to assume our schools will be opening late as well ... if not closed.

No rain here. In fact, there's no precip falling at the moment.

You run into the problem of a government entity within a private sector business. Not to mention the PO Box space that would be needed inside such places as well as the parking and shipping issues. The cost would be higher overall if they went that route, too.

The winter weather advisory wasn't canceled ... the winter storm warning was. There's been no question that we'd get something by way of winter precip ... just a question of how much.

If it is such a worry/concern, maybe they shouldn't have driven on a day when they knew snow was coming. Just saying.

That radar map is showing mix but it is 100% snow here. Has been for a good while now.
