  1. Congratulations ! Shameless suggestion: What kind of home are you interested in buying ? (neighborhood, price range, features, bargain, location, etc.) ??? We love our home in N. Paulding, but we really need to move to Jasper / Dahlonega area for job reasons...
  2. We are avid campers... both primitive (backcountry hiking) and comfy (camp stove and facilities)... When "comfy" camping we cook many of the same meals we have at home : Fajitas, pancakes n sausage, grilled chicken and steamed veggies, burgers n beans, Mexican Chili, one pan potatoes bacon eggs, grilled steak n baked taters... Cast iron skillet, heavy duty sauce pan, large ziploc bags, and aluminum foil are your friends...
  3. Waste not, want not... I have grand memories of shopping for bargains at the local salvage store with my ever frugal Grandma Francis... It was a fun game to play "guess what is in the unlabeled 5 cent can"... Could be dogfood, could be peaches, could be green beans ???

I like to make little ugly "voodoo" dolls with funny names for my friends and family... There is no rhyme or reason to their creation, but I enjoy making them to cheer up anyone with troubles; the more ugly and crazy looking the better to vent your frustrations with tiny implements of torture...
