  1. Do you know what the criteria for small business used on those stats is? Mostly curious if its based off revenue or number of employees.
  2. I went about 3:30 and they were putting out what they said was the last of it. Thanks for the heads up, it was a great deal.
  3. Give me a call and I can try to walk you through it. 678-453-8022 Nick
  4. It's all about the data now. Its considered anonymous but based off cell phone data there is a company that can predict with 95% accuracy where a phone is going to be at any day/time. Being that we are mostly creatures of habit its not too difficult actually but still quite creepy.
  5. I had an acer mini that did a similar thing, there was actually an optional windows update that fixed it. Plug it in to your router and run windows updates on the website, make sure you have all of the critical and look through the optional and install any you think might have a chance of helping, or you can install all of them if you want. Do you know if its a fresh install? If you can I'd try resetting it to the factory default image. During boot there is likely and option to do so, F9 possibly depending on the model. Let me know if that doesn't do it. And we can try something
  6. I had ordered some of these for a party this weekend, but the shipping was just delayed till Monday. Anyone know where I can find them locally? My daughter is in love with them thanks to 'Tangled'
  7. Are the hats the only piece to the costume?
  8. Opps, http://itsvista.com/2007/01/itsvista-tip-19-restore-your-vista-recycle-bin-icon/
  9. Check out this page, I don't have a vista machine with me at the moment but the steps look right. If it doesn't work I can try it out tomorrow morning when I'm actually in my office.
  10. What operating system are you using, XP, Vista or 7?
  11. The annual Cedarcrest 5k (http://www.cedarcrest5k.com/) still has a ways to go on the fund raising goal for this year. Unfortunately I'll be running in another race this weekend so I can't attend, but I can offer a 50% discount for any race participants for any services provided in the next 90 days.
  12. My thought was for tools. Easier to build with a power tool or 2 instead of all hand tools. Also lighting for night time, I assume that would help some with security. Maybe not...
  13. Would the magnetic flip impact electrical devices? I know the EMP would kill any unprotected devices.
  14. I agree its a very interesting topic. And something I've started to prepare for some. I know something could happen although I'm not all that worried it will. I just think its cool to think about. I grew up a scout and love the outdoors, living off the land, making everything I need from scratch. But I have a long way to go. I'm prepared with power, defense of my homestead and hunting. I know how to and have all of the stuff to filter water as well. Food is the biggest question for me personally.
  15. I use a magicjack daily and have very few problems. I definitely recommend it. I also use vonage and am very happy with it. It's much better quality than magic jack, but costs a good bit more. I'm on the 9.99/month plan with them.
  16. Just got a text that all of the buildings but Horticulture and HEC are closed due to a gas leak. Just a heads up as I know we have a bunch of students on here.
  17. I use name.com and dislike godaddy with a passion. Give me a call tomorrow (or whenever) if you'd like and I can give you a 5 minute or 5 hour explanation behind all of the web and DNS systems.
  18. Thanks guys, it was a pleasure to help you.
  19. Glad everything is working out well with the shop computer. Good call on keeping a backup of everything, we can't stress enough how important it is to keep backups of important data. You never know when a computer might fail you.
  20. Thanks WebsterMOM its always a pleasure doing business with you. We are glad everything is working out well with the new pc. Give us a call anytime time Happy Wife And Mom, we would be happy to get you taken care of. Thanks, CPC
  21. There was a recruiter at the ATIP at Chattahoochee tech last month. He said that a good percentage (I can't recall the number) of employers now look for the prospective emplyee's on facebook and linked in. They are typically looking for negative items, however, there was a growing percentage, around 15%I think that said if they could not find you on facebook they would not consider hiring you. I don't have the details of the surveys he was quoting, so I can't say how accurate it is, but was interesting for sure. Nick
