I have had about 30 yellow jackets in the house in the past 2 days . They are on the window over mt front door but i cant figure out how they are getting in.

A acre is not enough land for chickens. If animal control got a complaint or came to you house and saw that you have them than you will have to rehome the chickens. Your chickens have to be 250 ft from each side of your property line and 300 ft from the front of your property lline. With having 1 acre your property is not 500 ft wide. I have 1 1/2 acres and mine isnt big enough. Just letting you know .They will give you a certain amount of time to rehome them and than if you do not comply you can be cited everyday that you do not .

Animal Control has some smaller traps. There is a refundable $25 deposit. If is their trap they will come out and pick the cat up. If you can touch the cats than put them in a crate and bring them to the shelter. Keep in mind when animal control comes out and sees your chickens (if your property isnt at least 500 ft wide) they will make you rehome your chickens. You need to be on a big enough piece of property for them.

Animal Control would not respond to a bear. That would be DNR. Animal Control only responds to domestic animals.

You can go to animal control and do a open records request. After doing that they will give you the info on the call. You will get the information of the person who called including name phone number and address given they gave the correct information. Animal control is open from 11-3 monday,tuesday,thursday,friday and saturday,

The county laid someone off from parks and rec on monday the day i got laid off from animal control. They also laid people off from the storm water dept and closed it last week.

I worked at Animal Control for almost 5 years and was laid off on Monday. We had no idea. The last we knew our dept was ok.

Becareful not to touch them. They do carry rabies. We have had 1 or 2 test positive for rabies in paulding county this year.
