    :shrug: I don't drink energy drinks...they make me feel like I'm going to explode...one soda is enough caffine to last all day for me.

    They're more likely to be used in a binge fashion because it takes like....:countsonfingers:....a whole lot to feel the effects of alcohol. Add to it that alcohol is a depressant and caffine is a stimulant. We can Ouiji Elvis and ask him how he feels about that.... (but you're right, moderation....if it were to exist)

    Why should they? There are a lot of people in this world with vices and we can't all walk around worried that an alcoholic will see us buying beer or that a druggie will find out I got a shot at the clinic.

    I think casinos design it that way. Smoke, drink, gamble....ooohhh...it feels soooo good. I'm with you on the "social" smoking thing. It baffles my friends. I also enjoy a good nicotine buzz everytime I smoke.

    When I bought cigs in Singapore they looked like that....but they also cost $12USD a pack. I didn't see a lot of smokers.

    I've been like that forever. After a dozen or so "sinus infections" in 2010 I finally made an appt with the sinus specialist at Emory. Way.Over.It.

    I will go out on a limb here and say that sports and activities are NOT what brings someone out of poverty. I'm still trying to be an NBA superstar, but in the meantime I bothered to get myself an education and bring myself out of the poverty I was raised in.

    I'm looking to spend $400 max. My kid is getting a Disney Princesses Waffle Maker. Her birthday is at the end of Jan and the way they do paydays I will never get paid between Christmas and her bday. Poor kid. That's what she gets for evacuating early.

    I usually catch it on DVR, but I didn't go to work today so I get to watch it in real time! Wow.

    She gets 3 gifts. I've decided on 2 of the 3. Then I'll decide on something cool for my nephew. I don't buy for anyone else...with so many adults in my family, I'd go broke.....so I implemented a "children only" policy for Christmas. Oh, and if I can't buy it online, I don't buy it. I hate shopping centers during the hoidays!

    I could live with seeing a lot of elem and middle school programs cut, but not in the high schools. HS is the time when students start to get serious about their future and need to have time to learn skills in order to be competitive in the world.
