i would be interested....it would be a great "girls night" event if someone wanted to get 3-4 of their friends together I don't know about the 2 night event---that may be a little much to swing.

poor Paul is always getting shafted.....he's there for EVERYONE when needed, but no one is ever around for him.

hold on---it's on DVR and I'm not caught up yet!

See, some months I use maybe 400 minutes and 300 texts.....some months I use a ton. It's hard to tell because it just depends on what's going on in my life. However, I pay $75/mo regardless of which I use. I'm researching to find out if it will average cheaper high/low months with prepaid. I've been without my cell for 2 days and haven't felt the need to talk to anyone....but I do NEED one since I don't have a home phone.

Metro PCS....never heard of it. I'll check it out So no on the prepaid....

WTF?

My cell took a swim, thanks to my toddler. My contract is up and I'm not really interested in being tied down to a new one----but I want a fairly current phone---mine have been hand-me-down outdated models. So, is prepaid more economical than a plan? I probably use 800 minutes/mo. max and about 1500 txts a month. I also want a phone that can DO things----like let me check my email! What do you think? I am clueless and the internet is failing me.

Paula Abdul has decided not to return to Idol
workingforaliving replied to NewsJunky's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I hope she doesn't try to release a "comeback" album. -
It was my first time I normally count to 3 and she's straight by the time I'm at 2. Overall, she's pretty good and doesn't often push me too far. She thrives on positive attention so she doesn't do much that brings negativity to her. AND I teach special ed in a middle school---she's got nothing on those kids!

\\ I didn't realize it still fell under the same grouping anymore....I thought it was seperated several years ago. Learned something new...

I didn't realize gifted was federally funded....I knew about ESEP but some schools use their ESEP funding to fund "general" projects. I have more than once had to fight for funding that rightfully belonged in ESEP. I *think* I can handle whatever we have coming-----I think it's the waiting and not knowing that's really starting to get to me.

Hopefully they'll decide to cut ineffective programs (AKA pet projects) instead of our healthcare benifits or more furlough days. I would be interested in seeing the list that was handed out with all of the possible cuts.

Is this worthy of a FELONY conviction? That seems to be the commentators major issue. I had to take my little one to the bathroom for the first time yesterday I kept telling her I would take her to the bathroom for a spanking and she would straighten up for about 3 minutes......then I said "Do you want me to take you to the bathroom for a spanking?" with a MEAN tone and she replied "yes" I popped her leg twice and she was well behaved the rest of the time. She has thrown fits on the floor too----and I stand there looking at her and say "are you done yet?" and she realizes

Woman in Cobb County Severly injured saving kittens
workingforaliving replied to Teatime's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I love the little fuzzy kittens, but I don't think it's worth endangering MY life or the lives of OTHERS over. I probably would have called the cops and let them deal with the traffic/kitten situation. People like this cause my insurance premiums to rise. -
Absolutely. Friday I headed up the dreaded GA400 and through the toll booth. On a whim (and to be like the movies) I paid for several cars after me. MY karma payback? I didn't puke this weekend after drinking that 750mL bottle of vodka....in one night Sure, it's not as great as some of hte other stories, but if you've ever spend a vacation with your head in a toilet from drinking too much, then you know what I'm talking about....

Consider the ATL City Pass-----6 attractions for $49/$69 http://www.citypass.com/city/atlanta.html my sister and I took my daughter and nephew to all of these places over spring break....we packed lunches (zoo, fernbank let us bring in food---picniced between aquarium and world of coke in the grassy area) and we didn't buy stuff in every gift shop.

I had someone flag me down in the parking lot to tell me my tire was flat....I had just finished loading my toddler into the car, got in, and pulled out without even noticing!! Good thing she stopped me too, because as soon as I was out of that parking lot I would have been on the interstate. -
My 2 yearold and I are eating corndogs for dinner tonight.....again

Why do we always have to tip everybody?! Don't they get paid in the first place? Or are they paid like waitresses?

Anyone taking advantage of the free tax
workingforaliving replied to Lady Raider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I think that's a "per item" cost for the school supplies...I'm not sure though. Ding! I was at Sams yesterday and there was an 18pk of Expos for $14. I stopped myself from buying them (because I normally would) because I just don't know what to expect financially. Now's not the time for us teachers to get careless with money! You mean rude, smelly, disorderly people aren't worth $7 to you? That's cheaper than a trip to the zoo!
