Tonight some lower then low life shot my cat with a pellet gun

I hope your kitty makes it through surgery and comes home healthy and better than ever. I like animals more than I do most people. -
I remember that book back in the late 70s or early 80s - Real Men Don't Eat Quiche. Followed a year later or so by Real Women Don't Pump Gas.

Heck no. But you can call them and ask them to tell you who's in your area. The people there are very nice and they'll help you find something close to home and you won't have to surf the web looking for it yourself.

There are two in Grant Park. One is on Cherokee Avenue next door to Dakota Blue restaurant. I "think" it's called Loose Nuts. The other is around the corner next to Stone Soup. Call Loose Nuts and they can surely tell you where you can go to be fitted for a new bike.

I heard this on the radio yesterday on the way home from work. My first reaction was "for crying out loud, can't Paulding county stay off the evening news for at least a week"? Seems like everytime you turn around Paulding's on the news for some reason and it's never a good reason.

I use them and I really like them. Was there a couple of weeks ago and my invoice showed the office visit as $25.

Well at least the mystery of Shemika's misinformation is cleared up. Girlfriend can read but has no comprehension skills!

I saw that comment made by some woman named Shemika or something like that. It was sandwiched in between everyone else's opinions that the wife did it or the Mexican drug lords or the grand children did it. It's a field day on people's opinions on that site. Some upstanding citizen even took the time to write about how the wife looked ugly. It's really disheartening sometimes to see people's reactions to stuff like this. So completely disrespectful! Somebody should enlighten Shemika or whoever she is that the FBI gets involved in numerous kidnapping cases all over the country year after year.

The Eatonton paper stated they bought the lot in 94 and built the house in 99. There's an article about their sons owning restaurants and about their daughter here: http://www.msgr.com/news/crime/article_4301bba8-d6dc-11e3-9a0f-0019bb2963f4.html I looked the man up on LinkedIn.

The man was retired but had previously worked for a health care company that dealt with marriage counseling and mental health issues. I'm going to go out a limb here and say it could have been a prior patient. He worked for Stathas Life Development Center in Greensboro GA before retiring.

It's a strange, sad world that we live in with so many people committing suicide as the answer to their problems. It seems to get worse every year. Too many people are just not emotionally equipped to handle and survive hardships in their lives. And too many people do not have supportive relationships with family and community to help them through it. I wish that everyone had somewhere to go or somebody to call who could help them when life overwhelms them.

Yep, hand only! I know this from personal experience when I threatened to spank my child with a belt. Daughter told me that I couldn't do that so I called Paulding county and they told me that she was correct. I don't know when that changed. My mom and dad used to beat the crap out of me with a belt or a paddle or a fly swatter or a hairbrush or a tree limb......

I have to turn the air on during pollen season. I can't keep the windows or screen doors open or I'll get horribly sick. Gets too hot with the house all closed up so the air condition gets turned on.

Anyone else's house beginning to show it's age?
SusieQ404 replied to The Sound Guy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Our house is 14 years old. The roof and the air conditioner were replaced a couple of years ago. -
We call that one the Emo Kroger at work. I'll go there before I go to the Kroghetto at Moreland and Confederate though. Kroghetto is a lot closer but I went once and once was enough.

For women over 40 who have a primary care physician but have not had a mammogram within the last year. Call 855-655-BMMC (2662) to schedule an appointment. Not sure if the link to article in the patch will work but here it is: http://douglasville.patch.com/groups/around-town/p/free-mobile-mammogram-screenings-offered-in-douglasville_bad4e9a8

Dang storm ripped the fascia off the front of the house again.

The thunder woke me up around 3:30 AM. It was so loud and intense the house was shaking.

Does she have a section 8 voucher? If not, there's not going to be much out there at that price range is well kept and available.

I worked for the state in early 90s and had this day off every year but I would never have guessed they'd still be counting this as a paid holiday in 2014.

I follow West GA Weather on FB but there was a guy on a forum somewhere named DD or DDD (or something like that). Does anyone know what forum he's on? He's the guy I'm looking for.
-
The coming weather is looking pretty serious. I aim to keep an eye on it as best I can. Who is the guy that everyone on here always follows that knows his stuff and is right almost all of the time?
-
I'm so sorry, This is exactly what I am trying to avoid. I had never heard of it or thought it would be a problem either until the woman mentioned it.

I married my DH and moved into his house a little over a decade ago. His name is on the mortgage but not mine. I had a friend of my mother's who is a paralegal in South Carolina tell me recently that I needed something called a survivorship deed in case anything happened to my husband. He added me to the deed at the courthouse some 10 years ago but she stated that wasn't enough. I had a lot more questions but unfortunately she didn't have time to sit down and explain it to me. Short of spending the time & money to refinance the mortgage in both names, I was told this was a good option. Has
