Did these kinds of mass family shootings always go on in the past and I just didn't hear about them? Or are they becoming more common? Why is it that people shoot everyone that happens to be in the house, even children?

The update from a couple of hours ago states that there was substantial brain damage and the prognosis for her is very poor.

I looked on the internet this morning to see if anyone else was hearing this kind of noise around Atlanta and found a lot of interesting articles. Some of it written by people who may or may not have a clue but also some written by those scholarly scientists types at large, ivy league universities. The overwhelming consensus is that the noise has to do with small earthquakes. There are news articles about the mysterious noises from New York, Texas, Oklahoma, basically from all over the country. If you are talking strictly "late night" then my favorite is/was/always will be Letterman. Admittedly he was a lot funnier when he was younger but I'm loyal and I'm going to stick with him. If you add in the daytime talk show hosts, I always liked Mike Douglas.

I saw that article on the AJC and then I read something different on FB that would put it down near the Flour Child Bakery and Shenandoah subdivision. The Atlanta news outlets are giving conflicting information. One said it was in Hiram and another said it was in Douglasville also.

One of the first things I did was contact the neighbors. Unfortunately none of them have the package and no one saw anyone on my front porch. We had two packages delivered Friday. They took the small package from QVC and left a bigger box from my mother-in-law. At least my Christmas cookies and Chex Mix were delivered without incident. I'd hate to have tell MIL that someone took her Christmas goodies! LOL!

I heard about it on the news all these years but this year it happened to me. Somebody stole my package off of the front porch after the mailman delivered it yesterday. I called the post office and reported it. They told me that there have been many complaints in my area about theft this year.

I'd like to help you sort all this out but I'm kind of busy eating my leftovers from my Momma's house. Yummy green bean casserole! I kind of feel your pain though. I was looking forward to leftover baked mac & cheese but they ate it all at dinner yesterday. I'm bummed about that. Can I disown them for that?

I just got home from Ingles not long ago. Not super crowded and very friendly staff. Drove right past that jammed packed Ridge Road Kroger because I just knew it was a mess on the inside based on the parking lot.

You could not with my last two insurance carriers unless you have risk factors. I do not have the risk factors that the CDC considers acceptable and was told no.

As much as I complain about my insurance company, I must say that they are generous with the vaccinations. My husband received the shingles vaccine last year and it was free. I am not 50 yet, still a few years to go and I wanted a pneumonia shot in addition to the flu shot. The doctor agreed to it. It was free also and I didn't have to wait until I was 65.

Nah, don't think so. There would blue lights and sirens for an event like that. Normally hangers on and lookie loos are present too. Not to mention news crews from channels 2, 5, 11 & 46. Didn't see any of that going on so I'm thinking it's safe to rule that out.

About an hour ago? We were in Penney's and it sounded like an explosion or a sonic boom. Nobody seemed to know what it was. I checked with the tunnel people and it wasn't them. They have the weekend off
