No trick or treaters at my house. Last year we had maybe 10. Every year the number dwindles.

I tip for takeout. Usually $1 or $2. I tip the pizza delivery guy as well because he/she gets zero % of the delivery charge. The store or restaurant gets that money.

I know you asked specifically about Dallas Dodge Body Shop but I don't have any personal experience with them. I buy my cars there and use their service dept. but never the the body shop. However, if you can, I'd use Wren's in Douglasville. My insurance agent suggested them after my car received major hail damage in the tornado that went through downtown Atlanta several years ago. Wren's was great. They were quick too.

My experience with that is they only want a signature. They don't care whose signature they get as long as they get one.

Need New Primary Care Doc, Ours Moved to CA
SusieQ404 replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Well, I guess I better call back and take that November appointment since I'll need my meds refilled by then. I'm not really a new patient, I've seen Dr. Rhyant before. He was my PCP for a couple of years but I haven't seen him in three years or so. I guess they're making me start all over again. -
Need New Primary Care Doc, Ours Moved to CA

So I called today to schedule an appointment with Dr. Rhyant at Wellstar Primary Care in Hiram. The scheduler told me that his first available appointment is in November. Today is only September 2nd. I'm not sick so I don't need a rush appointment thank goodness.I was wondering though if all of the doctors in that practice are booked up that far in advance. I haven't been there in a long time and I am just shocked at how long it takes to get in and see a physician. Is there a different, perhaps a priority for people that are sick or have the flu or threw their back out? For those of you that s -
Does anyone know if the Anna's Linens in Douglasville is still open? Someone told me that the company was going out of business and having huge sales at the stores but that was a month or so ago. Anyone been by there lately?

Pearson Farm in Perry, GA has the best peaches. They will ship to you if you can't go to them. We get a box every year from them at the office and they are delicious and juicy. They aren't small either! http://www.pearsonfarm.com/

I wanted to add something to Mei Lan's memory about the people that were stuck on the planes, some for days. In the frantic rush to get all planes out of the air immediately, many had to land at small airports that were not equipped to handle the number of people on board. Planes were diverted anywhere there was a runway long enough to land it seemed. One of those airports was in Alaska that had planes parked on the tarmac nose to tail for days. The airport didn't have the supplies needed to feed the people or the facilities to house them all. The Alaskan community came out and fed all of thos

I won't ever forget. I was working at the GO (general offices) for Delta Air Lines in Hapeville. It was a long, long day that turned into a long week. Delta was diverting flights and landing planes anywhere they could to get them all on the ground and out of the air ASAP.

This topic sounds familiar. I think I read on here somewhere, a month ago or so, that the owner moved back up north? Ring any bells for anyone else?

Thanks Chelle! -
A few weeks ago, somebody was looking for magazines or other literature, for students to read. I don't remember who it was. Does anyone else remember? I have some if they are still needed.

Benny was a really sweet guy, always happy, always kind. I will miss seeing his smiling face at Kroger. Many prayers for his family and their loss.

We have Paulding Waste as well and so far we have not had an increase. We should get a new invoice sometime in September for the 4th quarter's service so I'm curious to see what it will be.

Mystery solved, LOL. From Atlanta magazine. Finding Carter (WHO) is also filming in Douglasville this month. And lastly this month, a bit of an odd one: Seth Rogen was in town last week shooting a few scenes for his holiday-themed comedy, X-Mas (X). Principal photography for X-Mas was shot in New York City . . . in late 2014. So not only are these reshoots, but they are reshoots for a film that didn’t even shoot here originally. Regardless of if our tax credits are that good, filming took place downtown near Cone Street on July 11, and near Lithia Springs and Douglasville on July 12 and

I have a little dog as well and went through this last week. I put him on the bed and brought a little saucer of water with me. He wouldn't drink out of a bowl so I dipped my finger in it and he would lick the water off of my finger. We did this for about 10 - 15 minutes before he would finally drink out of the saucer on his own. Next morning he did the same thing so I got the saucer of water and sat down on the floor with him. Wouldn't eat either so I gave him a little bit of honey on the tip of my finger for his sugar low. Stubborn dog. He was in pain as well and wouldn't take his pain pills
