I buy a lot of batteries around this time of year. Walmart had a good special on the big packs + 4. I usually try to put the batteries in the toy (first to make sure it works) so we don't have to run around trying to put batteries in everything and the kid getting bored waiting on the batteries to be put in. So I try to have it all done before they open the presents.

Since I lost both my parents this year I wish I had spent more time with my Dad this year. After he died in May we never left my mother alone until she passed in September. We cherished every minute we had with her. We had no clue that Dad would have been taken as quickly as he was. He passed on 6 weeks after being diagnosed. Something he said he was going to beat, but didn't.

For a minute there I thought you said... 'Said he was told he had to dry out before he could deliver". I was thinking that wasn't a problem the weather was going to solve.

Nude? That just mean you don't have any clothes on. But as Lewis Grizzard would say, "Nakkid? That's spelled 'N - A - double K - By God I D' and that means you ain't got any clothes on and you're up to something!"

It's the road that runs behind the graveyard at the Methodist church on Nebo. I believe there's a trailer park or something back there too. -

The day I met my spouse? That would have to be our wedding day! Since before that she wasn't my spouse. The day I met the person who would be my spouse? Then that's a totally different story... -
accident at Hiram Sudie and Bill Caruth today at 12:30 is

I think the easy solution to the problem is for the signals on the Bill Carruth direction should have the green light and green left turn arrow one at a time. Let southbound traffic have the right or way and then the north bound traffic. That way the turning traffic from Bill Carruth to Hiram Sudie would always have the right of way since they alternate turns. This would be similar to the traffic light sequence they put in at East-West Connector and Austell road except that both directions travel straight together for a period of time, but the left turns for either direction are never at the s -
I think Tebow was crying cuz he was thinking about how much LESS money he will be able to command in the NFL draft this year than if he had gone to the NFL last year.

So if one oven is on top of another over, does that make it a Conception oven? -
Did anyone else have one of those Erector sets?

We saw it last night. The theater was sold out. What surprised me the most was the reaction from the audience during the movie. Most movies we're not sitting in a packed house and there's very little reaction from the group watching the movie. This was a lot different. Although I'm not a fan of the series, I did think this one was better than the first. And just so you know, there is NO special scene at the end of the movie. Ever since 'Pirates' we sit through all of the credits to see if there's one special scene at the end like in Pirates or X-Men. Not one in this movie.

Muslim countries seek blasphemy ban
Can you hear me now? replied to adult.'s topic in Paulding County NEWS
Agreed. A better analogy would be: Christians saying GD about this or that. That's the blasphemy that this is really referring to - utterance or action concerning God (or Allah) or sacred things. This has nothing to do with i.e. gay marriage. -
I'm not the biggest country music fan ...

Sorry, you don't understand what that award truly represents then. As well as those who voted for her. Most country artists are wondering how in the world anyone thought she deserved that award. Probably mostly out of sympathy for the other award show. Because she's not really that great of an "entertainer". There are a lot of artists much more worthy of that award than she was. Let's see how long she lasts... -

Taylor may be good but she really doesn't have that strong of a voice or a stage presence. Entertainer of the Year? Get real! She deserves Entertainer of the Year as much as Obama deserved the the Nobel Prize. Based on what accomplishments? The Entertainer of the Year is not supposed to be an award for popularity, it's an award for achievement. -
I think he should start campaigning now for a Presidential run in 2012. Instead of just talking about fixing the problems with this country, he could actually do something about it. He'd have my vote.

I used ImageShack and browsed for the photo, copied the link and in P.Com selected to Insert Image and pasted the URL link in the space provided. Seems to work good as gold.

Try switching to 'Halloween' or to 'IP.Board' and see if that's better for ya!

You can open the picture in MS Paint and use the Image|Resize feature. Try reducing it by 50% both Horizontally and Vertically and save the file as a different file name. Then look at those two files in Windows Explorer and see how much that reduced the size of the file.

This is one of those things that gives Christians a bad name and hurts their own witness. Christians should try to set an example for this world. Actions, such as not tipping, only go further to keep those people that these Christians come in contact with - those that might even be under conviction and struggling to find faith in something in this world, away from a saving knowledge of Christ and end up driven further from the Lord. I think those people who leave Bible tracks think that this satisfies their commitment to reaching out to those you are lost. Giving 10% in their church m

In case I haven't mentioned it recently ... I HATE drunks

I think every person deserves a good defense attorney. Send your hatred toward the judge you weighs the evidence that shows the person was impaired and lets them off the hook. -

We used to go there a lot. I'd much rather eat there than fight the traffic on 278 - which is only going to get worse for the rest of the year. I'd go back down there, but I heard they don't allow anyone under 21 and now allow smoking. (I can't stand smelling cigarette smoke while I'm trying to enjoy my meal.)

Around 8:00 or so, everybody started coming out. It lasted until about 9:30 and we probably had about as many as we have any other year. I know we saw way over a hundred kids come by. There were some parents trick or treating too, some seemed to be without their kids - trick or treating in proxy. Economy's pretty bad when parents are going door to door looking for candy.
