Doesn't happen often --- enjoy. The date 01/02/2010 is a palindrome: A rare confluence of month, date and year that reads the same backward as forward. The last palindrome date was Oct. 2, 2001. But before that, more than six centuries passed since the numerals last aligned on Aug. 31, 1380. Try to figure out when the next one is.

Did you see in the link that Hiram wants to convert their community center into a police facility? What are they going to do for community meetings?

My sister-in-law, who is not in the city limits, went down to their office in the new administration building when her basement was getting flooded. They sent out an inspector in a couple of days. I think either the county or the city should do that.

A lot depends on the thickness of the laminate and if it's waterproof. We put a 12mm thick waterproof laminate down in our basement because we worry about water coming in. Also, remember to put down both underlayers.

Tuxedo cats are supposed to be a very intellegent breed. Ours is.

You might check out the tips at http://www.supernanny.com/ I have seen in the past a TV hooked up to a bicycle, where they had to pedal to generate enough battery power to run the TV. That way, they got exersize & TV.

A short while ago, two girls from Austin Platation subdivision came by and rang our bell. They brightened our day by singing christmas carols putside our door. This is the first time anyone has done this here. If their parents are reading this, you must be so proud of them.

Congratulations, Our first grandchild celebrated her first b'day last week and the first year has been amazing. It's best that we've been able to watch her at least one day a week.

http://pauldingsentinel.com/ True, but the Neighbor is the only one tossed into your driveway for free --- in some driveways it stays there for a month.
-
Ditto --- at least Tony Shahloub cancelled that one, not the network. It was gettng harder & harder to come up with new plots and OCD stuff.

Don't forget the Paulding Sentinel, although most do. The Neighbor & Sentinel have websites. The New Era doesn't.

If boiling, make sure the water is boiling before putting them in. Otherwise, they will suffer as the water heats up.

How often do you listen to your voicemails?
AustinPlantation replied to Baileybleu's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I do listen to my home e-mails bacause there is a red light that goes on when there is one. But, I don't have my cellphone on much, and therefore don't listen to the messages until a week later or more. So, I changed my cellphone's voicemail message to "I'm hardly on the cellphone, so I won't hear this message for some time --- please call my home number." So, do you think it stops anyone from leaving a message on the celphone? Nope, and they have my home number. -

Anyone know who can repair & convert C60 Cassettes?
AustinPlantation posted a topic in RECENT TOPICS
We found an old old C60 music cassette with our children and my mom on it. Tried playing it and it ran for a while. Tried to rewind and the end detached from the spool --- glue was a little old. Anone know of a service that could fix and convert it to a CD?
