Wife got a ticket in Virginia and Virginia says she must take an 8-hour Driver improvement course, in person, either in Virginia or one approved by the AAA or the National Safety Council. Can't be online and Georgia seems to have 6-hour classes only. National Safety Council says that she can take two day classes in Gwinette (2hr+6hr) but would like to find something closer and one day, if possible. Also, what was your experience in the class. Was it all lecture and was there testing? My wife is very poor on doing tests and she knows it. Happened in a VA County on list of speed traps after

After a long hiatus, over the past 3 days, I received 4 emails from 4 different people with a blank subject and a link to a foriegn website. All used different e-mail providers and each were addressed to me and several people not in my address bookwho I never received mail from, so I could not have ad a part in it, but I'm changing my password anyway just in case. Somehow, they found a new way to get to your e-mail. Previously, you could see the messages in your sent mail folder, but according to the senders, they weren't in there. Have you noticed an increase? Recommend changing p

Free Advanced Screening of New American Idol Premiere
AustinPlantation replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Even though I'm not interested, occasionally I'll see something that someone else might be interested in and post it. I could say Don't shoot the messenger or Let he who is without stone throw the first brick or I could completely have misunderstood your comment. I don't usually rant on someone else's comment --- check all my posts --- so I won't do it here. Don't want to lose my mayberries. P.S. I am quite upset with the type of judges they are putting on these shows (Idol, X-factor) myself, but some of the talent is good. I'd rather watch these than some of the un-real-ity shows that m -
American Idol fans, mark your calendar for January 9, 2013. Atlanta residents will have the chance to attend a free screening of the first episode of the new season of American Idol one week before it hits your TV screen. The local event will take place at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) at AMC Discover Mills. Another pretty cool part of this experience is that immediately following the screening, fans can participate in a live, interactive Q&A (via video chat) with Idol superstar host and judges Ryan Seacrest, Mariah Carey, Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban! Four national retailers agreed to recall more than 150,000 Nap Nanny baby recliners after at least five infant deaths and dozens of reports of children nearly falling out of the recliners, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Thursday. The recall covers Nap Nanny Generations One and Two, and the Chill model infant recliners. All were sold between 2009 and 2012. The CPSC warned parents and caregivers that the Nap Nanny contains defects in its design, warnings and instructions . The four retailers — Amazon.com , Buy Buy Baby, Diapers.com and Toys R Us/Babies R Us — agreed t

Anyone know why Rt. 120 goes down to 45 from 55 shortly after entering Paulding from Cobb?
-
They just switched to bi-weekly recycling because not enough folks have signed up in Paulding. But their recycling can is abot the same size as the trash can, so it works out ok for us. They had a new driver last week who couldn't find us. When we called it was picked up the next day.
-
I just paid $38.49 for the current quarter, including recycling. If you get quoted a higher rate, ask for the Paulding rate.

Don't know, but if it goes like the Voice, it'll be Carly Rose. And, LA Reed announced that he will not be a judge next year.

I understand he broke through a window. How would that help?

Need a Well* cardiologist who is not a low-fat nazi
AustinPlantation replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My wife as been seeing a cardiologist from Wellstar Cardiovascular for several years, who has not changed her low-carb diet that she was put on by another specialist, an endicrinologist(sp), because she has pre-diabetes. THat diet has worked for several years to keep her levels steady. Unfortunately, he is in Marietta and Woodstock, but not in the Bill Carruth office of Wellstar Cardiovascular. If you have been advised that you might be a candidate for diabetes, Wellstar has an excellent educational session that her doctor sent her to, where she learned all about the diet and several other thi
