I'd rather see left-turn only lights at Bill Carruth & Hiram Sudie. The turn lights should turn to red when folks are going straight. That would stop almost all of the accidents, which are caused by folks being unable to see cars coming from the opposite direction because of the slope in the road that was built there.

I was 60 some years back and must admit I would have had trouble understanding what was going on. Not fauting the officers at this point, but I would be slow to react at that age and would be a bit hard of hearing. I wouldn't have been holding pepper spray, but I could have been holding something that looked like a weapon. It's time to pray for the family.
