    There are words that for whatever reason I just like. One that was used in the football thread that I really like was, lurking. Another is the word, ergo. I don't know why I like some words more than others, but I do. Are there any words that you just like the way they sound, regardless of their meaning?

    We have a tuxedo cat similar to yours. Ours is into everything, if something gets knocked over, William did it. The wife is always yelling, "William, get out of there!"

    You know I think you are a great guy (despite being a liberal), but, I stand by my statement.No matter what the facts are, it will never change your mind.     A violent criminal attacked a police officer and was killed while doing so. That is the fact. Anyone who has a problem with that or doesn't believe that, is someone that has their own agenda that has nothing to do with facts and the truth. If there was a video showing that the shooting happened exactly as the police officer said, these people would then say that the video was altered.     Good questions, but the answers are not one size fits all. It would depend on the kid in question (not all kids, even siblings are the same), the drugs in question, the amount of drugs and many other factors. I will say this, I do not approve of kids under the legal age drinking alcoholic beverages. Why? Because it is illegal and as a parent if I say to my kids, "Ohhh, it is illegal, but it's ok to break this law.", it sends the wrong message to kids, who do not have the ability to see around the corners and/or discern what the consequences of not following the rules could be.     Just for fun I looked at both Tina's and her husband's FB sites. I had looked at them when this thread was started and DGITW mentioned some things that interested her. A few things stood out to me. Both of their fb sites have been revised. Tina's has no mention of her husband or pictures of him. I did find a comment where Tina was asked in June, just a week or so before she was attacked, when she was going to come to AR for a visit. Her reply was that she was moving there in October. Also, there was a comment from one of her friends about a pic of her, it said that she was too goo

    Yehhhh, the fact that the committed a crime, probably many crimes, gas nothing to do with it. See, if we shoot em like I say, we not only save money, we save space.

    I am guessing this is from the 50's, based on the phone style, the clothing style and the basic content. I do know this, when they started putting in electric lights through out the rural areas, the electric people had all sorts of things to deal with. Such as people putting cotton in the light socket to keep the electricity from dripping out when there wasn't a bulb in it, to people not wanting electrical sockets installed as the electricity would come out of the wall socket holes and electrocute them.
