I will! :0) I'll tell him Santa said Happy Birthday.

I hope that is what they end up doing!! I love Gavin's teacher, but I guess people just have different ways of doing things. When she said that about the cupcakes and maybe eating his tomorrow, I think she may have sensed I didn't like that idea...that is when she said, "Or maybe we will divide them up and eat half of Gavin's and half of B's." I said that sounded good, so hopefully that is what they do. I have a feeling Gavin is going to be like, "No...I want to eat my cupcakes." I hope he says that! I understand that yesterday was B's birthday and he should be able to bring something in too,

is 5 years old today! I just sent him off to preschool with his Superman cupcakes only to be told he may not get to eat them today. Another kid's bday was yesterday and he brought cupcakes in today, so they are probably going to eat his today and eat Gavin's tomorrow. Kinda ticks me off since today is GAVIN'S birthday and yesterday was the other kid's...why should Gavin not be able to eat his cupcakes on HIS birthday? But I understand at the same time...teacher did say they may eat half of Gavin's and half of the other kid's, so that would be just fine with me! I don't mind if they share the d

Steven is great. My van I just got 2 weeks ago was running really rough all of a sudden and he put a new coil pack on it. It has been running just fine since then. He is just a really nice guy...I'm glad I met him!

Yes, PLEASE...send us PM's or something, but I'm dying to know! I'm deathly afraid of roaches, and now I don't feel like going to eat anywhere around here wondering if it's the Roachaurant. LOL! There is already 1 restaurant in Hiram that I *will not* eat at because I briefly worked there and did not like how they did things despite their A grade! And another that I also briefly worked at...I will not eat their salad or eat their rolls. I sympathize with you, though. Waitressing was my first job, and it was extremely difficult. It was hard enough doing that type of work and liking where y

potty trained child suddenly pooping in their pants

I was going to ask the same thing. I remember my son doing something similar (I don't know if he was pooping, but he peed several times) either when I was pregnant or just after his brother was born. It stopped not long after it started, but it was still frustrating. Just have to reassure them and try to get them to go in the potty! -
Eww! I would freak out for sure. Two or three years ago we had TONS of flies in our house all of a sudden. There were hundreds. And they were gathering on the ceiling. I'm guessing we had a dead squirrel or something in our attic space. I was horrified for days...tried everything to kill them. I vacuumed most of them up and killed the rest of them finally with that Ortho Max stuff. I spray it every year now in the house and on the outside of it to keep them dying if they do come in. We only have one here and there in the summer now, and it always dies soon after entering.

Thanks! The only reason I'm even a little concerned about it still is stories I am reading on car forums, etc about people having the issue with cylinder 5 misfire, replacing the coil packs or plugs and the problem going away, and then the problem coming back after a week or so...so after I drive it for a week or two I will feel better. Steven tested the pressure on the cylinder, though, and I believe he said it was at 120, so he said that was good. So apparently we do not have an engine problem, but perhaps we would have to replace the fuel injector(s) if it happens again. Hey, I sti -

Well, Steven came out this morning and replaced the spark plugs. Didn't fix the issue. He went to the store again and put a new coil pack on it, and when we started it up it was running smooth again. So HOPEFULLY that was the only issue. I drove it down the road and it ran fine, though I was just in the n'hood so I didn't take it over 30. But it was very apparent that it was not doing it anymore. So that was at least part of the issue. Whether something else is wrong and will surface later, I don't know...but for now I am optimistic about it. And he saw a burned spot on the spark plug for that -
I was wondering the same thing.

Well, it is a Chrysler Voyager, so technically it's a Plymouth I guess. Lol. Anyway, we also have another Chrysler van that we have had for several years and have had NO issues out of it. It makes a loud noise for a few minutes on starting it in the winter, but other than that it has been great. No issues. 170k and my mom had it before we did and she never replaced anything on it. So...it's been good to us. It's nearly the same van as the one we bought, just a year older with nearly 50k more on it. -
Tell me about it....I feel like a "cheap" mom this year! LOL. I used to spend way too much, but this year I think I have spent the least I've ever spent and I think they have PLENTY. That is probably because I am tired of the playroom overflowing with CRAP and more crap! Also why I got rid of most of the toys the past few days.

Time is definitely more important! My parents are divorced. I always got nice presents and a good amount for Christmas and birthdays. However, my dad was and still is really poor. He just has no money! My mom, on the other hand, always had money and bought me whatever I wanted. Yet...I have not ONE memory of my mom playing anything with me as a kid. Not a game, not dolls with me...not anything. My dad, however, always played stuff like checkers, Battleship, etc with me and would even play other things if I wanted. He spent TIME with me. He took me to the park. He did things he knew would

Aw...that's funny, but sweet at the same time. They will surely never forget all of that. My story is pretty boring...not a very creative husband. Lol.

Last year I spent $580 just on a playground for my oldest. And he also got a lot of other stuff...probably another $200 or more. I spent probably $200 on the baby. This year, since we had to sell DH's gun to buy Christmas after all the terrible luck we have had the past few months, I set a limit of $500 total as it's hard with my son's birthday being in December as well. Right now I have spent about $400. I am happy with what I have bought and I honestly don't feel like I haven't gotten enough. In fact, it took me THREE HOURS to shop for my youngest because there was seriously NOTHING to

I totally agree, which is why we purchased a CarFax membership good for 10 reports. We ran 3 reports on cars we almost bought. My mom was supposed to be home to do the report on this particular car, but she was not. We had to get a car that day and it was between that one or another one we had looked at that was listed as having 6 owners, but it looked to be in perfect, immaculate condition. Ultimately we decided to go with the one we got because we test drove and it ran like a brand new car and we got a good deal on it. Steven, Johnboy Automotive, also looked at the car (but admittedly not un -

Well, Steven came by and it came back with a P0305 code for #5 cylinder misfire. He said it could be something as simple as needing a tune-up, or it could be as bad as needing a new engine. YAY. Lol. He said he will be able to tell after he does a compression test...I think that is what he called it. But he can't do that until tomorrow, so we'll see. So...we should know before having to spend money on the tune-up if that is what is really the issue. God, I hope so. But I just have a bad feeling...but, on the other hand, the car was running GREAT and it starts right up (even now with -

Thanks...made myself a big pan of cookies and am going to eat my problems away. Lol. I would love it if it were something small like a gas cap issue, etc. I am not going out there right now to fiddle with it, though...fear I may do more damage, but we will see what Steven says. I'm just thankful that Steven is so helpful...and hopefully I will know what the issue is within the next few hours. Praying it is nothing...my friend, who is car crazy, seems to think it's no big deal since the car ran so well before today. But that, to me, means nothing. Cars can seem to run great and then go dow -

Steven is going to come by in a little while and scan it. I called the Chrysler dealership to try to figure out what that particular light is (I don't know if we got the owner's manual), and the guy sounded really concerned. He said not to drive it at all if possible, and to even tow it if we decide to bring it in. He said with what I described and the shaking, etc, he said it sounds like it may "lay down" on us. He felt so bad for me that he said he would scan and diagnose free for us and that he would give us the best possible price on the work, but he said it sounded like a "very serious" p -

My husband actually called him 2 days after we bought it about something else, but he never returned my husband's call. RED FLAG. The guy supposedly has several businesses and one of them they supposedly just bought a building attached to an Xpress Lube and are putting a car audio place in it...they talked about my husband hosting his website for his business, but if he really wanted him to, why did he not call him back? My husband just tried to call, and it rang 2 times and went to voicemail. He must have ignored the call. -

Well, the Bill of Sale does not say sold as is, so that may make him responsible for it. I'm not sure exactly how that works here in GA, but in SC that is how it is. -

No...got it November 18. But we bought it from some guy, not a dealership. Everything seemed great while we were buying it. He seemed like an honest and very intelligent person. Unfortunately, things did not add up for me after we bought it. I have been stressing about it since we got it. Just some really weird things.........
