  1. The one off 61???????????????? That is just freaking STUPID! Do they think I want to drive an extra few miles for some crappy food just for a playground? No freaking thanks! I love McDonald's french fries and admit we often eat their food, but their burgers don't compare to places like Dairy Queen or even Burger King or Wendy's, which ARE worth driving a little further for (well, DQ and BK). No way am I driving the extra miles and OPPOSITE direction just for the playground, nor will I write them and beg them to include one...I was going to before, but I'm sick of businesses assuming crap. Let
  2. I told you, Devon...Charlotte Massad!!!!!!!! She's a woman and at Scottish Rite. There are actually very few pediatric urologists here in GA. If she did Gavin's penis surgery, I think you can trust her to find what is wrong w/ C. Call her up! http://www.choa.org/default.aspx?id=1356 I'm going to use her for Tyler's second circumcision when I get around to it, too.
  3. That was me, and DARN YOU...now I want some of that delicious goodness. Lol. Crap!!!
  4. I have a changing table that matches my crib that I have...it sits in the closet and serves as an extra place to store clothes. I'm not a changing table girl...to me they are a space taker, and no way do I want to walk up the stairs every time I need to change a diaper. Lol...lazy, I guess. I love Target and have been looking at their site the past few days. They do have some twin and crib size sets that match, BUT they all look too babyish for Gavin and Tyler, though they are very cute. My 5-year-old would not want babyish jungle animals, even though I would be interested in a jungle
  5. I bought DH a gift card for the movies (really more of like a "let's go on a date" birthday gift, lol) for this birthday in September and we have yet to been able to use it. That is SAD...but his family is really not much help with our kids and we really just have not been able to afford a sitter the past month or two (prior to that, I just was not comfortable with the idea of a babysitter)...we have only been on like 2 dates since we got married. Very sad... If you still have it in a week I will let you know...I am probably going to end up paying a lot in the next few days for some c
  6. Thanks for the suggestion! I'd love to do something like that, but unfortunately that would require me to use mother-in-law...she sews and makes all types of things and has been featured in several sewing magazines, etc...DH would be mad if I had sets made and didn't have her make them. And I just don't want to go through having to tell her what I want, how I want it, etc. The end result would probably be different...
  7. What kind of swing is it? I will go look for your ad in a bit, but I am a snob and only want the kind with the side-to-side option. I just love those and used them with both my other boys. They would sleep that way for hours, but they didn't care for front to back so much.
  8. I agree about not stressing out. I'm trying to do all of this to excite myself about having another baby so soon, I guess. Lol. if I didn't worry about it and didn't decorate, I'd probably be more blah about the whole thing. I just don't know what I'm going to do with THREE kids so close in age. I know I will feel differently once he is here, but I'm just thinking...4 boys in the house, WOW...(including hubbie ).
  9. NORMAL! Got the results yesterday, but I am wondering if I barely passed or if I was well within the normal range. I will have to ask, because barely passing is still indicative of a sugar problem and different doctors use different cutoffs, but I'm happy for now. On the other hand, looking at my ticker makes me a little sick. I really don't feel pregnant after the first trimester, and the time is just flying by. I really cannot believe that I'm going to have a baby so soon. I was just thinking about all those darn doctor's visits the baby will need to go to. I spent a ton of time and a
  10. Some people may find this weird, but we brush our teeth in the shower when we shower. So we have toothbrushes that we use at the sink and toothbrushes that we use in the shower. Well, I got a toothbrush and cleaned the drain with it (had some nasty black grime building up), got distracted and didn't throw it away or put it up...and apparently DH thought he had a new toothbrush Needless to say, he was pissed and I didn't kiss him for days.
  11. LOL...that is funny and sad at the same time.
  12. Yes...it's stupid, mindless, and a waste of time. Please don't get addicted to it! I wasted hours and hours on that crap that I can't get back. There isn't even a point to it, really. I got to level 16 or something ridiculous that took hours upon hours to do. You just plow land, plant seeds, grow food, harvest it, etc. You earn coins for harvesting the food and you can buy things to decorate your farm with. You have animals, etc. But, like I said, there really is no point to it. You just keep moving up levels which allows you to buy more things. It's sorta like Sims in nature, but there's no p
  13. Haha, Dev...they may LOOK like angels, but they are little mischief makers!!
  14. Hey, we can trade if you want. It seems like everyone around me is having girls. I don't know if wasn't drinking enough water or what, but I definitely missed the girl wagon. I'm sure your son will love his baby sister!! I always wished I had an older brother...she will be one lucky little baby!
  15. That is so true. My mom wasn't a perfect mom, but my sister ran away at 12 and there was NOTHING we could do. I fully remember the cops bringing her home every couple of months, but she would just sneak off again somehow. Once, she was even with me and told me she was going to get the mail...then I saw her hop in the car with her boyfriend. The people she was living with had a shed out back with a secret hiding spot...a board that moved that she would hide behind. They had surveillance cameras and everything. I have no idea why the cops and the system did not do more considering her boyfriend
  16. Hubbie earns the money, I pay the bills. Hubbie paid the bills the first year and a half of our marriage, and we ALWAYS had bill collectors calling about credit cards overdue and we were always overdrafted. He is so BAD with paying bills and balancing the budget. I took over after getting fed up, and we haven't had an overdraft fee in 4 years, nor have we had any phone calls. Lol.
  17. Honestly, the search function on Paulding is not very good IMO. I have searched for things before that I know are there and that I have seen, but that would literally take going through pages and pages to find. Sometimes it is just easier to ask. While I do think that some question threads are a little ridiculous, like..."Hey, what's the number for Domino's on 278?" most of the questions don't bother me. I mean, the fact is that nearly everything said or asked on here has probably already been said or asked or perhaps something very similar. If everyone just used the search function, it would
  18. We had Stevie B's for the first time a few weeks ago. I didn't care for it. It was good, but I thought it was overpriced...even though it all-you-can-eat. I really liked the cherry dessert pizza...had a taste of it, like cherry pie! Hubbie, on the other hand, LOVED the spicy chicken pizza. I'm not sure what it's called, but he loved it. He had a ton of it. I got mushroom special made, and it was so-so. I may be wrong, but I think that the mushrooms were canned? I don't know, I just know that I didn't like it nearly as much as hubbie did. It cost us nearly $20 between the pizza and drinks to ea
  19. Of course they do...and they're offering a refund if you don't like it. Lol.
  20. I used a coupon code. EBCS. Sometimes with Domino's site you have to play around with it to get it to accept the code. Like tonight, it did not want to take the coupon with the 2 medium pizza coupon from the site. But I started over from scratch and it accepted it. It *will* accept it, just have to play with it. The coupon is for a free cinnastix with online order. Anyway... Just got done eating, and... Hubbie loved it. He ate almost his entire pizza. I have to say that I really liked it too. However, I took a bite of hubbies and didn't like his as much. He had pepperoni and black
  21. I'm just wondering...what were they smoking when they wrote that script??? And the worst part is that it is not even funny...at all.
  22. Just ordered it...I hope there is a difference to us. Got the two pizzas and an order of free cinnamon stix for $14 delivered. Not bad at all. I can't believe they weren't using shredded cheese before, though. Wow...lol.
  23. No...I failed the 1 hour glucose tolerance test, but I go for the 3 hour GTT tomorrow morning. So I should know on Wed or Thurs if I have GD for sure. I have heard of doctors giving out monitors for failing the 1 hour, but my doctor is pretty easygoing, so I think he is waiting to see how this one turns out. I really hope it was just a fluke and that I don't have it, but I just have a feeling...and I'm tired of the, "But you're small...and you exercise" comments from family and friends...not everyone who has diabetes or gets GD is overweight or underweight.
  24. Papa John's is my favorite, too. I like the sweeter taste of their sauce, the crust is perfect IMO (not greasy!), and their ingredients are the most fresh to me. I just love it. But willing to give the new recipe a try...just sucks because if it isn't better, then we will never order there again. It was a risky move for them to completely change their recipe, but it sounds like it was an essential one. I will only be able to have a slice, though, because of me possibly having gestational diabetes, so that sucks...but I want to try it.
