  1. AHHHHHH!!! I am going insane with this. I have had it for years, since I was a teenager, but whenever I hit the third trimester in pregnancy it is just 1000x worse. I want to saw my legs off! I can't cuddle with my husband or watch tv on the couch comfortably...always have to move my legs around. Anyone else suffer with this and have any relief tips??? I don't know how I'm going to deal with this for another 7 weeks. It's preventing me from getting school stuff done...I can't sit here and focus at all!
  2. I agree...and so what if he doesn't? One of my longest teen relationships resulted from me handing my number to a waiter. I think I was 16. Lol. I just walked up to him and without saying a word handed him my number. He called me that day and we dated until he decided to go into the military and then I met my DH not soon after that. But I am an aggressive girl like that...I know a lot of girls/women are not like that, but I figure why waste the opportunity if you are interested? Might as well just come out and try. I never got shot down, so I guess that is a good thing...you should just embar
  3. P&PT for him. Back surgery is no fun, that's for sure. My stepdad has a large cyst that has grown and wrapped around his spine very tightly. He has had 5 or 6 surgeries for it in the past couple of years. They did not do the procedure that they should have done the first time, which was to attempt removing it, so now it is too large and too tightly wrapped to remove. All they can do is drain it, but they have had to insert a drain from it to his stomach, so it is pretty involved and he is always in pain with it. I hope that they can correct your husband's issue. and hopefully he will
  4. A lot of people make a living doing stuff like this. But the market is so saturated with people trying to sell their own crafts, etc. You would really need a unique touch to your items, but if you could do that...you could probably be very successful with it. My husband just started a web hosting company and one of his clients is a woman who sews smock children's clothes, but she is just going to print a ton of business cards that will send potential customers to her website and allow them to place orders there, etc. I think websites are always important when you are getting started promo
  5. Well, today has been crummy and depressing. My mom lives in South Carolina and called today to say that one of my sister's schoolmates was hit and killed in the entrance to the neighborhood. My mom lives in a very large, nice neighborhood that has a pretty long road across from a mall leading into it. This girl was walking home at 7 something at night with a friend after getting some food at a nearby restaurant. They had just gotten onto the long road and were heading into the n'hood when a man pulled onto the road, didn't see them, and hit and killed one of the girls. The man, from what I hav
  6. There are just way too many laws protecting criminals these days. I mean, yeah, they are most likely kids just "having fun," but maybe after they hear of their friend Billy Bob being seriously hurt or the car being dented or even perhaps an overzealous mailbox owner coming out with their AR15, maybe they will learn their lesson and not set out to maliciously destroy someone's property. It makes me so mad...I hope my kid is never that much of an IDIOT to go and destroy someone's mailbox. It is ridiculous how our youth and even adults act. You hear of stories every so often of kids bre
  7. Yes...it does make them look smaller! And I think people who place it there and don't like it directly on the lash line are just used to putting it on the waterline (or rim...whatever you want to call it) because that is most likely how they started applying it as a teenager. I used to wear mine there as a teen, and that is how most teens wear it. It takes practice and getting used to. The trend now is to wear just below the lash line, and I just hate that look...it just doesn't look right on *most* people. The only way that looks right is usually if it along the lash line as well...but i
  8. I'm right there with ya on the dark circles. Unfortunately for me, they are genetic...nice gift from dad's side. I've had them forever...yay! The best concealer I had was a Lancome one...but the thing with dark circles is that you really have to layer and let dry, layer and let dry. UGH. It is very annoying. I don't care anymore, though. I just put some on, cover with powder and go. I've come to realize they are just going to be there...
  9. Man, that sucks. A few days ago our mailbox and our neighbor's mailbox was open. I don't think anything was taken (at least not from my neighbor's) because hers was full. But really, what do these stupid people/kids/whatever they are get from doing this? Someone is going to be really sorry if they mess with mine and my husband is awake.
  10. Okay, so you put the liner on your waterlines? The actual flat skin above your lashes? If so, it's no wonder that it breaks up, etc. You say you can't wear it below (I agree with that...I think it looks bad below, anyway, unless you're going for a very bold smokey look). Have you tried using it directly at the lashes? I personally think powder is best a as a liner, and it looks more natural. Get an eyeliner brush at CVS (Essence of Beauty)...they are good brushes. Get some black or very dark brown shadow. Dip the brush in a drop or two of water, pat the ends of the brush in the powde
  11. It is totally possible. Kids use the bathroom at school. Perhaps that is when she and her BF did it. Or during gym, or God knows when and where. It's possible...and doesn't always mean the parents were not watching the child, or even that the school isn't watching...kids have to go to the bathroom. You'd be surprised how many tweens and teens were getting hot and heavy in bathroom stalls, gym showers, under the bleachers at assemblies, etc, at the middle and high schools that I went to. And they were good schools...in good areas. It makes me sick to read about that, and I can honestly say

They're great, aren't they?? I guess once you are a member, you're a member for life? Hubby's former employer is listed on the employer list, but he has not been with them in 2 1/2 years...and we don't live in a county they serve anymore. And we just got that loan with them in November, so I am guessing once you become a member you are a member from there on out... But I would just keep checking...there are a few credit unions here in Paulding.

No, that's not the only way. I replied to your PM...if you live in certain counties you qualify.

I understand your feelings about that and I struggle with it, as well. There definitely are! I think the best defense against the scammers is meeting them at their home and checking their address on their license...also getting the CarFax. Most of the scammers will not let you come to their home to view the car and want to meet you somewhere. But I would definitely check out Georgia's Own...they will give you the best rate possible and seem to take a chance on those with less than stellar credit. Hubby's credit is great now, but like I said...years ago it was not. *Editing to add that

Are you unable to get a small loan? Hubbie had not-so-great credit years ago when he got a loan with Georgia Telco (now Georgia's Own Credit Union). His loan was like 5 or 6 grand and was 200/mo. I don't know what the interest rate was. We used them again for our van we bought in November...it is a 2002, so the best rate they could give was 7%, but had it been a 2003 or newer we could have gotten 3%. Payment is only $100/mo for 24 months. But we are paying it off tomorrow. We bought the car from an individual and they just made the check out to them or would have given us cash.

Yeah, I'll let you know when we get that winning lottery ticket.

Hey, thanks...we bought a different van from an individual the day after almost buying one from Steven Lang. Now, we are looking to replace our other van that we already had with a car for hubby. I doubt he would want the Buick...he is already stressing me out talking about how he doesn't even want another car because he "can't get what he wants," which is a Porsche or BMW Cars are point A to point B for me, and up until this morning he said he didn't care what we got, but now he has an attitude about it and nothing will end up being good enough since it won't be a Porsche. 30's crisis, much

Just a little proof.... http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/ctd/1590044843.html Read the ad...STEVEN LANG. Your eBay rating doesn't say much. Are you only selling the junk cars that you buy at auction at your physical dealership because you are scared of a bad eBay rating? Guys...Johnboy was going to meet my husband to check out a van we almost bought from this person. He sped off and left my husband standing there without saying a word before Steven (Johnboy) even got there. SHADY is definitely the right word.

LOL.............. I was doing a search for something and found this. You are recommending your OWN car lot. LMAO...wow. We almost bought a car from you...very glad we did not. When someone shows up that just bought/leased from you and complains of having to put oil in the car every day and you say, "Okay...put more oil in it. Have a nice day."...that is a major indicator of your character, not to mention how you treated my husband.
  20. Okay, thanks. I will check out her site later when I don't have the kids climbing all over me. We actually got 2 sets done my last pregnancy...1 set with my brother-in-law on Mother's Day and another set at Target the day before the birth. I love the set we had done at Target, but I really like pix that aren't confined to studios the whole session. I would choose my brother-in-law over anyone, but I don't want to wait years for my pix. Since we are family, we are sort of pushed to the back burner, which is understandable since he has a lot going on and neither he nor us are going anywhe
  21. Yeah, I know, but I'm extremely critical of pictures. And this is 99% my last baby...I want them to be perfect!!! :-D
  22. My ticker moved up a notch today. I just noticed it...wow, only one space left to go. I will have to get some tacky hand-heart-shape maternity pix done... Ha...JK. I will have to find a new photographer this time. My brother-in-law did mine last time, but I still haven't seen them! They are on his computer, but he is very busy...he is a director and shoots films, music videos, and commercials...so I guess he doesn't have time to give his own brother and me a CD! I love him, though, and will get them.....................one day. Any photog recs? Someone reasonable! I am broke and
  23. BTW, usually a baby's nose is also affected with cleft lips. Your baby's nose *appears* to be fine and not flattened/smooshed on that nostril. I'm by no means a medical sonographer, but I'd like to be one day...if I can ever stop popping out babies.
  24. You need to relax, girl! Those ultrasounds can be very unreliable...they are not even great for gender determination. The sonographer did not mention it? If not, I wouldn't worry. Even at the "fun" US places, the sonographers are usually legit. Did you have a 20-week scan? They probably would have seen it then.
  25. I like all three of those, but hubbie says no. I really like Easton.
