I couldn't agree more. Some people like to enjoy a nice cold beer with their meal outside when the weather is nice. We went to the Mexican place once, and were told we couldn't have a beer outside, in a can or otherwise, with our meal. We'd have to dine inside. Or did they not even serve beer? I can't remember now, but either way we ended up leaving and it had to do with outside dining and beer. At Sal's the other night MrB asked if they had beer, he wanted one with his pizza. Premixed drinks are not very strong - rarely can you smell them. I was more concerned with the color aspect. Who thinks apple juice is green?

I am being totally serious, becuase I have never heard of this. But, why so many Goody's powders? I used to take Advil for back pain from having to sleep on my parent's couch when I worked in Chattanooga. I am convinced that is why I developed ulcerative colitis. ETA: I never considered myself "addicted", I just took them before bed to avoid pain in the morning. I took two or three a night.

I second Marietta Square. Another great place (my favorite, actually) is the Cobb Antique Market on 41. It is between North Marietta Pkwy and Roswell Road. Take 120 to Hwy41 (via North Loop!), and turn right at the light at 41. It is about ¼ mile on the right. It is in the same strip as Northern Tool and Equipment, Value Village, and Ken Stanton. c

LOL, I had to read it out loud at first, before I got the hang of it. But, I like when authors write in local dialect/jargon. I read a LOT of Toni Morrison so I guess I am used to it. Actually, I have read ALL of Toni Morrison except her last book.

I LOVED "The Help". I agree with you though - I did not like the way it ended. It was left open ended, though maybe for a sequel. I was not satisfied when I was done. I do want to see the movie when it comes out, though. I have not read "Blue Like Jazz", but I have heard it is a great book. Let me know what you think. It just does not sound like something I could get in to.

And it'll keep you happy. LOL Do not do what I did - I tended to snack when I quit. I ate a lot of hard candies (lots of sugar!) and I packed on 10lbs by the time I found out I was pregnant. Ugh. It doesn't take much for me to gain, so that is why I always stayed away from snacks and sugar up until then.

This is terrible. I can't believe that someone could and/or would do something like this. In addition, I think these people are incredibly irresponsible for allowing their pets to wonder outside at night alone. She said they have shock collars on so they won't leave the yard.... there are plenty of dogs in my 'hood that have run out of the yard and kept going until the collar stopped shocking. I quit before I got pregnant - not because I was pregnant, or trying, but decided it was time. I went to Kroger and got the Kroger brand nicotine gum, mint flavor coated type. It was HARD. I missed the feeling of the smoke in my lungs as much as I missed lighting one and holding it in my fingers. I am not going to lie, I cheated a couple of times when I'd go out and have a couple of drinks when MrB wasn't around. The biggest thing in quiting was the will power. Yeah, we don't use FedEx. I can't stand them, and I refuse to let the office change over to them. Wehave issues a lot. Once I HAD to send something FedEx and we don't have scheduled pick up with them like we do UPS. There are apparently three divisions - Ground, Express, and LTL. I called the wrong division, and got a nasty rude lady telling me I had to call the FedEx with the purple "Ex" or something. Grrr! Last time! I UPS and my UPS mens.
