That is such a wonderful gift!! What a great idea. My mom did something similar a couple of years ago, too. I had forgotten about it until I read this. I have made her recipes so many times I have them memorized. Not to mention the book was covered in sauce and other food bits from the mishaps of the early days LOL.

That is what I expected to happen at Pearl... just try them out. If you like them okay stick with them. If not, go back. At least you have 30 days to try them. With me, I knew within the first day or so that they wouldn't work for me. I just continued to wear them for two weeks to be sure.

You couldn't pay me enough to be the manicurist that has to use those tools. LMAO

This lady has 10 or 11 animals?? And she doesn't keep them in a fence or on a leash? I wonder if that would be considered animal abuse. In my opinion it is. I wonder if there is someone you could call and find out. I am sorry you have to deal with that!

Yes - I tried them, and hated them! I went from the A2 also, per the eye doc at Pearl Vision. He said the same thing about the vessels. With Oasys, my eyes were constantly dry, and by the end of the day, I couldn't see and my eyes hurt. I found that I had to take them out several times a day to rinse with solution. Soooo... since they were a "trial" pair I called Pearl and told them I didn't like them, to please order the A2. THey said no, the doc had written the script for them. To get the A2, I'd have to have another exam.. what is the point of even giving me a trial pair?? But, that is

Are you serious?? That is so nasty. I am lucky in that my neighbors keep their dogs inside, and we do, too. We take them out on a leash, and if they start to bark, inside they go. I mean, seriously. Dogs bark, but there is a limit. It's just not fair to the neighbors.

Now, I don't have kids, but I am a daughter-in-law. I am getting to the age where whether I get a gift or not doesn't really bother me (unless it pertains to my husband, of course ). From my MIL, I told my husband that if she asked, I wanted a batch of her yummy spaghetti sauce for my freezer that will last me a couple of months. I'd even buy the stuff if she'd make it (as my tummy is growling) If they lived closer, it'd be awesome if she gave me a "gift certificate" to cook me & MrB dinner one night. Or, ACTUALLY - if she gave me a "gift certificate" to do my dishes once or t

This is what I meant when I posted at the same time. I swear, my family gets stranger and stranger every year. I think they all forget I am going to be 29, not 15. LOL - thanks... I just spit water on my paperwork. I want one of them, too!

I want this headache to go away.... I've had it and a scratchy throat for 3 days now. ugg. But, also, I need a new computer. I'd also like a griddle since MrB likes to have 4 grilled cheeses with his soup, and one frying pan takes takes too long. LOL. If I don't get that, I'll live. The most important thing is that we get thru the season without hurting feelings or anyone arguing.

Y'all, I am so confused. I figure there's snow somewhere on pcom, but I don't see anything. I even switched to the Christmas skin.

LOL. I took a course in Brazilian history, an it was rather interesting. Don't know much about the ladies though. This just cracked me up

When you get it, will you pm it to me? I can't find it. I was trying to get in there the other day and what I thought it was doesn't work.

Woo hoo! Thanks!

I would pick either Romania or Greece. Romania because I would like to learn more about it; it seems like the history would be fascinating. Greece b/c my mom lived there from jr high through high school. I think it was 8 years. I have seen so many pics from her time there, and the food my mom's family learned to cook while there is amazing! (I looovvveee Greek food). And it is just beautiful and so, so full of history and culture.

I had the same problem! I could not fall asleep last night. Once I did, it was for about 45 minutes then I was up for two. It went on like that all night. Ugg... I am so tired today. AND - it is so warm this morning. It's so strange.

I think it's Mattress Firm, and I think it's in the same little strip mall type thing as Johnny's New York Pizza.
-
I am so sorry! I met you have a huge mess to clean up. I don't know where to get a used one, but I know that the mattress store on 278 infront of Target, near Buffalo Wild Wings had some new ones that were really cheap. It has been a while since I was there, but there was a clearence rack at the back of the store. Worth a shot, I guess.

My in-laws looked into it when they were building their house outside of Nashville. My MIL thought it was a rip off, and would not have saved them anyhing.

Not today (other than the cold) but I did spend a Christmas season as a cashier at Toys R Us when I was a freshman in college. They played that Paul McCartney song "Wonderful Christmastime" over, and over, and over, and over, and over. All season. I absolutely can't stand that song now. LOL.

I think it is very important. My husband and I got a letter not too long ago from someone in the county. It was soo full of spelling & grammatical errors we couldn't believe it actually went out. It is a reflection on a company. If they can't take the time to spell check, it makes me wonder. With that being said, everyone misspells at some point. I do without meaning to even though it drives me nuts. I even went to school to be a middle grades english teacher. But when it's for a business I think it should be checked and re-checked prior to distribution.

I couldn't agree with you more, MCMM. I do not watch/read any tabloid "news". I just do not care. It is not important in the grand scheme of things. Not only that, it hurts real people. It's not my business, and I know that I would not want anyone, let alone the whole world, knowing issues and problems in my marriage. Not to mention there are children involved.

At least you can pop your hood. I don't even know how to do tha lol. My Jeep wouldn't start a couple of weeks ago and I was stuck in the Publix parking lot on South Cobb Drive. I had to call my husband to come out there. He said, "Did you you pop the hood? Do you see anything?" Ummm.... how do I do that? Where's the latch? All he could say was, "Really?" LOL. Anyway, I think it's 'cause you are in Paulding. Not a single person offered to help me. Out here I think there might be a little bit better breed of folks.

I love how I met MrB. My roomate and I had a bad week, and she had just broken up with her boyfriend. I declared that Friday night "We Hate Boys" night, so we went out in Chattanooga. We were at Big River Grill in the billards section, and I saw a tall, dark, and handsome man stumble into a pool table on his way back from the restroom. I looked at my friend and said, "Jan, I no longer hate boys. I am going to get that guys number!" Well, about that time he saw me and came over to our table. I thought he said he was 24, b/c at the time I was 20. He had never been to Chatt before, and had come i
