Isn't there a website where you can "create" a fake e-mail address? The person actually uses a real e-mail account, but then "disguises" it as another. Or did I read that in The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest? Even if I did, is that real?

I just think some people are crazy. Or need to get a life.

I babysat my 4 cousins and younger brother every summer once I turned 13 during the day, and on Friday and Saturday nights I babysat my other two cousins. I made pretty darn good money with all those kids. They hate me now When I turned 16 I worked at CVS on Dayton Blvd in Red Bank, TN. It's not there anymore, and actually it was a Revco when I was hired. It was bought by CVS shortly after.

I am sorry that happened to you, I really and truly am. Things like that show ignorance and piss me off. The point I was trying to make yesterday was about this specific thread and the OPs experience in the courtroom. All she did was state what she saw. Period. I do not think all people of color are on welfare but still pay for expensive cars and hair dos. I can honestly say that I do not and never have. The person scamming the system that I posted about in another thread is white. Trashy people come in all colors, shapes and sizes. Not just "of color". I just didn't think it was fair

Yikes! I did this with a bridesmaid dress, remembering a week prior to the wedding. I had to use David's Bridal and it was an arm and a leg! I know!!! This made me think of what happened in my neighborhood the other day. We have lived in this house for over 6 years. We had issues with a couple of houses in the 'hood that started about two years ago. I won't go into details, but it has all been taken care of and they no longer live here as of nearly one year ago. Yes, you should have posted this. It is an eye opener; I have never been in court other than once for a ticket. That's not the same. I am fairly certain that the majority of folks on this board understood that you were pointing out the problem with the system, not a race. I certainly did. Don't worry about it.

I don't think she said that, at all. Wow. I didn't think that she meant that all were black, in my head I pictured whites as well, along with latinos. I am sure most people did, too. Maybe you are the one that stereotypes since you made that observation. Not being agrumentative, just sayin'. Some people just love to pull the race card, and are looking for racism everywhere. No, actually SHE wasn't from what I remember. Someone else was, and she was simply sharing information she had gathered in the process of trying to find help for her own family member.
