I'm not overly concerned with the new regulations, I dont fly. I think they need to draw the line somewhere and use a little common sense. Thats disturbing. That kid will probably never forget that experience.

I know people will get all upset but I really do think there is a difference in how people up north and down south treat their animals. Of course not all southern people tie up their dogs. I know this. I remember when we moved here from New York my mom commenting on the fact that so many neighbors have their dogs living outside, she was suprised. Naturally, it is much colder up there so I would hope more people brought their dogs in but I think it's just a different mentality in the south. I wouldn't suggest northerners love their pets more.
