I feel bad for real clowns. Those who make their living doing parties and such. This can't be good for their business. When we were younger, my brother told me he wanted to be buried in a clown suit. Not really on topic but it still makes me laugh.

My parents left Daytona and found a place to stay in Valdosta. My mom was supposed to fly out yesterday to New York for her 50th high school reunion. I feel bad she will miss it. I'm just glad they're safe. My dad wanted to stay and ride it out until us kids yelled at him to get the heck out.

My post wasn't about this specific situation. It was more about the overall lack of training dealing with the mentally ill by police. It's also important to note that people who suffer from mental illness are also 10 times more likely to be victims of violence than they are to perpetuate it.

23% of Americans have a mental illness. Am I to believe that the majority of those 23% are dangerous? Or should I believe that cops don't have the proper training to deal with mental illness which has been shown to be true, time and time again. If I have a loved one who is mentally ill and needs help, do I call the cops? Probably not. And that my friends is a problem. But go ahead, stick your heads back in the sand and pretend our undereducated police force has all the answers.

A friend of mine who has a daughter with a seizure disorder is speculating that it was a seizure. I don't know about that but there definitely seems to be something going on. It was a little unsettling to see her like that. First and foremost she is a fellow human being and I don't wish illness on her or anyone. And no, I don't think it's in the best interest of our country to have a president with a possibly serious illness. With that said, shame on anyone who takes delight or gets any amount of satisfaction from what happened to her today.

The crossroads Kroger has this. It's not as good as restaurant sushi but it's good enough to quench my occasional sushi cravings.

I would file a complaint with the BBB, get my money back and run for the hills. I have always heard nothing but bad things about this dealership.
