Well, this IS America and people have the right to a peaceful protest. You don't have to agree with the reason. If Trump had lost many would be screaming rigged! which isn't any better. My Hope is that those who are protesting will finally come around to acceptance because the divide in America is hurting us all. I'm hoping Trump keeps the demeanor level-headedness and thoughtfulness he displayed on election night. Im hopeful for our future because really, what other choice do we have?

My daughter and I waited 30-40 minutes to vote this afternoon. However, there were no refreshments . It was my daughter's first presidential election vote. It's surreal to have my kid voting with me, I don't feel like I'm old enough for that! I'm proud of her.

I'm currently reading Escape From The Pearl. It's nonfiction about the largest escape attempt made by slaves on the Underground Railroad. I recently started watching season 3 of American Horror Story- Coven. I'm also watching the current season as well as Queen Sugar on the OWN network. My husband is not a chili fan. And no, he's not a communist. He loves Papis chili. I only make it twice or thrice a year. I don't use beer and I make a few other minor changes based on personal taste. The carne picada is a must. You can find it at Kroger. I will never make a better chili or look for a different recipe because it's the one.
