Thanks! I've seen those. I thought they were a little weird, only because New Hope is pretty small. Don't we all pretty much know where everything is by now? Even a newcomer would figure it out pretty quick. I don't hate the signs, I just don't think they're very useful. Not in this area anyway.

I had one a few weeks ago. She had a little girl with her. I think that's a new tactic. When I told her I wasn't interested, She said "so you don't care about the Bible?". I felt put on the spot and said no. The look on her face was, for lack of a better word, priceless. I didn't really mean to say it, it just came out. It made me feel bad because the little girl was there. She probably thought I was a terrible person. Afterward, I felt angry. Don't come to my house and put me on the spot like that. Fact is, I don't believe in God, And I don't owe her anyone else an explanation.

My mom read my diary when I was a teenager because she was concerned about me. I was so angry at her and felt like I couldn't trust her after that. She had every right and reason to be concerned, but she wasn't going to find the reason in my diary. I wasnt stupid enough to write my wrong doings down. Imo, texts and Facebook messages are one thing, if I were concerned about one of my children I wouldn't have a problem reading those. A diary or journal is personal though, their inner most thoughts and feelings, I won't go there. These days, there are PLENTY of ways to find out what your kid is
