  1. People are falsely accused sometimes. But I'm sure every child molester has someone who believes in their innocence. Look at Jerry Sanduskys wife.
  2. Thats me. I went off adderall about 3 years ago, Haven't completed a task in a timely manner sense. It takes me forever just to make dinner! It's terrible, but I hate the way the meds make me feel.
  3. So, is the guy who stands on the corner bobo and mt. tabor really a child molester? I see him all the time, I even felt bad for him one day and bought him a cheeseburger. I didn't give it to him because he wasn't there when I passed back by. Now I'm glad...If it's true.
  4. Chicken nacho casserole. My daughters favorite.
  5. When the person in front of me waits too long to go when the light turns green. I like to say, What are you waiting for the right shade of green?! I got that one from my grandmother. Also, when a person turns their blinker on way before they actually make a turn, I like to say, Wow, you must be in advertising! That's all I can think of right now.
  6. I have a hard time with number 4. I'm good with the rest.
  7. Ooh, i'll have to try that. I do know that brussel sprouts and bacon go awesomely together. Of course, everything is better with bacon.
  8. They do have a good breakfast. The best part is, you can get it take out. Send your husband to pick it up, you'll never even have to get out of your pj's. That's what I do.
  9. Awesome, thank you for sharing.
  10. Thank God for Bert and Ernie, or I would never get anything done. I don't care who pays for it, but its gotta stay. I made a donation today. Just keepin' it real.
  11. The Braves always choke, that's what they do. Except that one year.
  12. Before I ever had a kid at the young age of 19, I always worried that I would do to my kids what had been done to me. I worried that I wouldn't be able to control my temper. Thankfully, I haven't followed in those footsteps. I never want my kids to feel the way I felt. I really don't think it's a lack of spanking that makes kids so terrible. Like another poster said, I think it's a lack of consistency. I see it all the time. My daughter has never gotten into major trouble a day in her life, she is always respectful and very polite. Like I said, I've never laid a hand on her. I'm not
  13. I was hit out of anger as a child. A lot. I will never lay a hand or object on either of my children. Angry or not. I don't have anything against people who reasonably spank their children. I just don't think I could ever bring myself to do it.
  14. I'm pretty sure the parents of the kids who have killed themselves because of bullying don't think it's silly. Mo, good post. You are exactly right.
  15. I defend her as a fellow human, not as a fellow overweight person. That's ridiculous. For the record, I am not overweight. At all.
  16. The student is reporting their concerns with the way the situation was handled. Maybe it's a valid complaint? Give the kid a break. If my kid had a concern with the way an emergency at her school was handled, I would listen. Some kids have more maturity and common sense than many adults. I wouldn't be so quick to write them off.
  17. Good for her. Perhaps her courage will give others the courage to stand up for themselves in similar circumstances. People who are self righteous assholes for no reason should be called out for it.
  18. That's not a good intersection to hang out at. that 4 way stop causes people to lapse into a coma that makes them forget basic traffic rules. I see it happen all the time! Dangerous!
  19. My husband has it and he doesn't take any medications either. Sometimes they keep him awake, and I feel bad. Other times, he is sound asleep and dosen't know he's doing it. I'm not so sympathetic at those times. Seriously though, I know it sucks.
  20. Yeah, I'm thinking thyroid. Possibly anemia as well. I'm good on protein. My mom has hoshimotos. (Sp?) It's a thyroid issue. Her mom had it as well. Thank you for the well wishes.
  21. Yeah, I know a person who does that too. I know another person who eats the hair after they pull it out. It really is just stupid problem to have. It (pulling) does have a very relaxing, calming effect on me. Like the article says, I enjoy doing it. It feels good. Anxiety plays a huge part. I used to take meds for it, but it dosen't help. I have read very few success stories concerning my problem. Behavioral therapy, as far as I know, is the only real solution. And even then, it rarely works.
